  • The second trailer sets its backdrop of tragedy and bloody vengeance to Metallica's "One." To get an idea, watch any of the numerous YouTube reaction videos. Reactions of shock are here and there. Smiles abound. But by the time the lyrics kick in, the headbanging is unanimous.
  • The opening theme is an eerie Western-tinged score reminiscent of Johnny Cash, with a bit of the melody from Tom Waits' version of "Way Down in the Hole", and some bluesiness mixed in. One can't help but imagine Frank slowly walking down a desolate road, readying to reap punishment on whoever needs it.
  • Frank's return to vigilantism to the tune of Tom Waits' "Hell Broke Luce." Bonus points to the editor who synchronized Frank's sledgehammer-fu with the smashing beat.
  • Frank's Choice, a powerful piece that only consists of a guitar and piano at first, as Frank chooses between going into the afterlife and reuniting with his family, or staying in the living world to finish off Rawlins...before slowly evolving into full blown metal, as he does the latter, and gloriously so. It utterly screams finality, perfectly befitting Frank's complete and utter acceptance of the Punisher mantle and the absolutely majestic Catharsis Factor of him utterly destroying Agent Orange at long last.
  • The official trailer for Season 2 employs "Would" by Alice in Chains. Much like "One", the latter half will have you headbanging along, and then scream along with Jigsaw.
