     The Rules of Supervillainy 
  • Gary's first heist is a fumbling awkward mess but he manages to dispatch The Ice Cream Man, his bunch of goons, and save the day before making off with a tidy sum. He even reconnects with his ex-girlfriend turned henchwoman, Cindy.
  • Gary ends up showing off his best tool as a supervillain is actually his words as he manages to persuade Diabloman to defect from the Typewriter's side and become his Evil Mentor. Diabloman and Gary's friendship will last many books.
  • Gary, Cindy, and Diabloman show off how dangerous they are when they take on the Extreme! in a fight that ends with the Nineties Antiheroes all killed. This includes Gary substituting his car keys for a guy's heart and Cindy taking down Ninjess with a fire ax.
  • Ultragod shows off why he's the best superhero of them all by casually showing up, taking Gary prisoner in a bubble prison, and carrying him off to the moon. He's entirely polite about it, throughout, too.
  • Gary ends up defeating a frigging xenomorph on the lunar base of the Society of Superheroes.
  • Gary and Gabrielle fight against Gog and Magog, the Biblical monsters, in a massive kaiju fight. Gary shows just what he might be capable of when he incinerates Magog and is implied to destroy the demon forever.

     The Games of Supervillainy 
  • Mandy gets one of these as while Gary has been trapped inbetween space for month, she's become a Badass Normal superhero and fighting against a Zombie Apocalypse contained in Falconcrest City.
  • Amanda Douglas, previously a Damsel in Distress, Took a Level in Badass and was trained by Sunlight to become the new Nightwalker.
  • Gary interrupts the summoning of Zul-Barbas so he becomes a tiny little monster instead of an all-powerful God. Gary promptly slices him in half with his magic scythe and brings an end to the evil god.
     The Secrets of Supervillainy 
  • Merciful AKA Other Gary gets one of his own as he manipulates President Omega and numerous other people to begin World War 2, collects all the necromantic energy of it, reverses time, and then starts the process all over again in order to gain unlimited power.
  • Merciful is also the one who kills the Superman Expy, Ultragod, by simply impersonating Gary and taking him utterly by surprise.
  • President Omega gets another villianous one as he's a time traveler who has managed to becoem President of the United States and starts World War 3. This is only after he's fooled the entirety of the world into believing he's a good guy.
  • Gary and company manage to defeat Other Gary and Ultradevil in an epic battle that, sadly, solves nothing.
     The Science of Supervillainy 
  • Gary manages to get a brutal revenge for all the torture, imprisonment, and manipulation that Other Gary has inflicted upon him. He manages to harness all of the energy that Other Gary has gathered to rebuild his destroyed Earth. He allows Other Gary to see his family in the distance and then executes him seconds before. Which shows, once and for all, Good is Not Nice.
     The Tournament of Supervillainy 
  • Entropicus' Establishing Character Moment is doing a Decapitation Presentation of Thor, the God of Thunder to let us know that he's a complete badass.
  • Gary absorbs all of the power of his fellow tournament fighters to just give himself a tiny fighting chance against Entropicus. Even then, Gary receives a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown that only manages to end because Gary managed to stick Excalibur into him with fragments breaking off inside.
  • Gary decides to use his one wish from winning the Eternity Tournament to save Diabloman's soul.
     The Horror of Supervillainy 
  • Sheriff I.N. Justice proves to be a significantly more powerful threat than all of the gods and monsters that Gary and company have faced so far, easily beating down our hero due to possessing Anti-Magic.
  • Gary effortlessly defeats Dracula because the latter forgets that the former is the Chosen of Death. He's the Kryptonite Factor of undead.
     Tales of Supervillainy: Cindy's Seven 
  • Cindy's entire plan is one endless one as she manages to gather together a collection of heroes and villains before goes after the richest being on Earth. In the end, Leia shrinks down the kaiju-sized dragon then Cindy chops its head off.
     The Fall of Supervillainy 
  • Gary makes a phone call pleading for aid against the attempted coup by PHANTOM. It ends up being answered by just about every single superhero and supervillain he aided in the past nine books, allowing them to be able to repulse the coup as well as save the world.
  • Ultragod, despite being revealed to be The Hollow, sacrifices himself to move an exploding Armageddon to the edge of the system and saves the world with a Heroic Sacrifice.
