Bob's pretty clear about how he thinks the man just wrote the occult version of The Anarchist's Cookbook, but Lovecraft's fictional letter and the comments of the unicorn show that at age fourteen, while seeing some of the most disturbing stuff possible happen to his crush, he was able to gather the nerve to torch the building an eldritch abomination was in and put it out of commission for decades if not a century;
- In Delirium Brief the Sleeper finally gets his comeuppance at hands of the Black Pharaoh himself. One second it's an overcharged Puppeteer Parasite manifestation of an Eldritch Abomination, then a fingersnap and a polite smile later it's shit and pieces all over the previously immaculately groomed lawn.
- The climax of Labyrinth Index has Mhari quite literally punching Cthulhu. In fact she punches so hard that its host flesh falls off and a high-ranking Black Chamber operative has to sacrifice herself just so Cthulhu doesn't discorporate without a successor.
