- The people of the Daily Planet taking on Brainiac's Robots. Shows that Clark's co-workers are a real Badass Crew when they want to be.
- Supergirl taking on Human Trafficers in North Korea and also taking care of genocides and other events around the world. It seems that Supergirl is quite the heroine, even if she's kinda trigger happy with her heat vision.
- Superman beating Brainiac by giving him over-exposure to everything on Earth.
- The opening scene has Lois in full Defiant Captive mode to a terrorist group, mocking them for being unaware of Supergirl's presence on Earth. Supergirl herself just lets them uselessly shoot her for several seconds with an utterly bored look before whacking out the tail rotor of one of their helicopters with a flick of her wrist.
- Then, when Superman shows up, when the head terrorist tries to hold Lois hostage, she buckles herself into her seat while Superman turns the helicopter to the side and dumps the head terrorist into the ocean.
- The armies of Krypton, Laroo, and Earth all put up decent fights against Brainiac's robots, even if they don't experience much success.
