Continuing the tradition of previous entries in the Sakura Wars franchise, this game provides some awesome moments.

Video Game

  • The opening combines the updated version of "Geki! Teikoku Kagekidan" with an awesome animated sequence by Sanzigen Animation Studio. When the main chorus comes up, it shows the Imperial Combat Revue fighting the demons with their weapons and Sakura Amamiya clashing with Yaksha.
  • Sakura Shinguji rescuing Sakura Amamiya in the Distant Prologue by slashing down the demon threatening the latter.
  • After 17 years, an updated version of the previous spiricle armors named the Type-3 Kobus, finally make an appearance during the opening sequence.
  • The game's Action Prologue in Central Station where Kamiyama saves a young girl from certain death and then confronts the demon with just his two katanas.
  • The Skywhale makes a triumphant return flying over Tokyo to give Kamiyama his Mugen so he can stop Yang from beating the crap out of Sakura.
  • The Eisen-Kleid's presence is felt in chapter 3 when Elise's white Eisen-Jäger, which is an updated version of the Eisen-Kleid, uses its homing laser beams and cannons weapons to take down three demons with ease.
  • In chapter 4, Kamiyama saving a cornered Yattansai (Azami's foster father) by beating 4 armed gunmen that Mr. I brought, with nothing but his bare fists.
    • When Mr. I brought 10 or more armed men to even the odds, Azami leaps in and disarms most of them with just several kunai throws. When those who are still armed start firing, she deflects every bullet with the kunai still in her hands. Finally, both her and Yattansai summon a giant toad and snake to scare Mr. I and his gang away. It's so satisfying, given what hell Mr. I and his gang had given Kamiyama and co.
  • The Big Damn Heroes moment by the Shanghai and London Combat Revue during the Mikasa's charge towards the enemy stronghold. With Yang and Huang soaring through the skies in pillars of flame, to Lancelot kicking and swatting away incoming missiles, and finally ended with Arthur's Overlord Excalibur, an oversized Sword Beam that will make Artoria Pendragon proud, eliminating most of the enemies in front of them.
  • Hatsuho's most awesome moment in the game has to be during the final battle with a powered up Yaksha. With Anastasia, Claris and Azami killed, Yaksha is gloating about how weak and pitiful humans are, effectively shattering Kamiyama and Sakura's confidence, only to meet with Hatsuho's "The Reason You Suck" Speech all the while walking towards the God-Breaker with her giant hammer on her shoulder. Plucky Girl indeed.
Hatsuho: Keep it up... I'll give ya somethin' to laugh about! We may be weak... We may live short lives... We're not as strong as you... But what we do have is friendship, loyalty, and trust. Those are worth more than you could ever know! My friends' hopes are burnin' bright in me... And they're fuelin' the fire that's gonna burn you to ash!
    Yaksha: What a joke!
Hatsuho: Keep laughin', chucklehead! Didn't they ever tell you that a cornered beast is the most dangerous!? Take this!
    • Then comes the clash between's Yaksha's katana with Hatsuho's hammer, which is actually pushing back Yaksha, much to her shock. While Hatsuho also falls at the end of the one stroke battle, she makes Yaksha use up her mana and costs her her power up, paving the way to Kamiyama and Sakura to ultimately put Yaksha down.
  • After Yaksha is defeated, Sakura finishes her off for good in a Single-Stroke Battle with Seijuro's sword. What makes it even more awesome is the accompanying chorus of the original "Geki! Teikoku Kagekidan" in the background.
  • When Kamiyama and Sakura travel back in time to 1930, Sakura witnesses her past self getting attacked by the same demon from the Action Prologue. Then, she uses the Amamiya Kunisada to finish off the demon a la Sakura Shinguji.
  • On their way back from the past, the Archdemon reaches out to grasp at Sakura and Kamiyama. Sakura, undaunted, charges headfirst at the Archdemon to stop him. Then, for a brief moment, a hero from the past appears to give Sakura Amamiya words of encouragement while helping to halt the Archdemon's advance: Sakura Shinguji!
  • Sotetsu Genan is eventually Hoist by His Own Petard when the Amamiya Kunisada is put back into Sakura's hands so that she can cut off the Archdemon's powers. Then, Kamiyama uses his Mugen to charge towards Genan and kill the demon once and for all.
  • After the victory against Genan Sotetsu, we have the Imperial, Berlin, London and Shanghai Combat Revues posing together for the famous Victory Pose. Not only does it looks awesome, it pretty much cemented the Combat Revues as true friends.
  • In the ending sequence, the Imperial, Berlin, London and Shanghai Combat Revues all get to share the same stage for their combined performance, AKB48-style.
