Awesome / Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken

• Arthur, Brill, Sam and Nessie managing to successfully fool Gordon into thinking he caught a "baby" Kraken so that he wouldn't hunt Ruby anymore.
• Agatha storms back into Grandmamah's domain for the first time in 15 years and gives her a thorough chewing out for still being a controlling presence in her family life. When Agatha points out that Grandmamah fights for the sake of it while Agatha fights for those she cares about, Grandmamah silently realizes that Agatha was right.
  Agatha: MOTHER!
  Grandmamah: And here I thought I knew how to make an entrance.
  Agatha: Stay away from my daughter!
  Grandmamah: You mean my granddaughter? The Princess? The heir to the throne?
  Agatha: Still trying to get your way. (scoffs) Some things never change!
  Grandmamah: You're trying to force your daughter into a life she doesn't want. Now where have I heard that before?
  Agatha: The difference is I didn't raise my daughter to be a reflection of my glory.
  Grandmamah: Well, that's certainly true. You raised her to run away and hide!
  Agatha: You still think I was scared to fight. You think it was easy to start over? To risk everything? I never stopped fighting! I fight for my family. I fight for who I love. You? You just love to fight!
• Ruby's Big Damn Heroes moment when she rises out of the ocean Godzilla-style to save Agatha and Grandmamah from Chelsea/Nerissa.
  Ruby: STAY AWAY FROM MY MOTHER!
• Ruby's battle against Queen Nerissa, particularly her varied usage of her abilities to make up for the clear difference in raw power between them.
  • Prior to that, Ruby managing to reach and retrieve the Trident of Oceanus by utilizing both her sheer raw power and her analytical skills to get around the gauntlet standing between her and the artifact. Granted, getting it led to her being betrayed, but it's still impressive that she pulled it off when her mother designed the gauntlet to be downright deadly to anything just short of a Giant Kraken, and still dangerous to them.
• During the final battle, Ruby saves the prom ship from getting capsized by a giant wave.
• Credit has to be given to Sam for throwing dodge-balls at the MUCH larger Nerissa to protect Ruby. Followed by Agatha throwing a house at Nerissa when she tries to harm Sam for defending Ruby.
  Sam: Leave my sister alone!
• While torturing Ruby, Nerissa taunts her, mocking her for being a dumb, gullible teenager, and pathetic for believing that anyone would actually want to be friends with a “monster” like her. However, Ruby’s had her Character Development, and tells the mermaid that she’s not a monster, but a ''kraken''.
  Ruby: I am not a monster. I’m a Kraken! *shoots an eye beam that disarms Nerissa for a while*
• Ruby realizes how to stop Nerissa and destroy the seemingly indestructible Trident of Oceanus by combining her Laser Eyes with her mother’s and grandmother’s to break it.
• After being captured and imprisoned by Gordon Lighthouse, Chelsea/Nerissa tried to explain her actions by claiming she’s not evil but pretty and misunderstood. However, Davey (who, along with Gordon isn’t having any of it, with Davey's claw language going "May I shut her up?"), pinches her nose while in her cage. Their look on her even says along the lines of "Oh shut up lady, we're not believing your lies!"
