  • Season 1
    • Alex’s interrogation by Grief has been fine-tuned from the previous bit of Bond Villain Stupidity into Alex discovering Grief’s entire plan via dedication and discovery of the other students, them gets upgraded when Grief and Stellanbosch start interrogating him using a Truth serum - Alex fights it off and won’t even confirm what they’ve already discovered, and instead ends up reversing the outcome by deducing Grief had help from his response to Alex’s questions.
    • Kyra proves herself to be an Action Survivor instead of a Damsel in Distress, even pulling a Guile Hero and doubling back on her supposed escape attempt to free Alex.
    • Tom has a small case of Adaptational Intelligence when he figures out what’s happened to Alex and even manages to meet up with him before he is deployed to Point Blanc.
  • Season 2
    • Alex going through an Augmented Reality version of Feathered Serpent in order to obtain an advanced copy of the game's sequel and get a lead on Damian Cray's Evil Plan. When Cray starts heavily stacking things against Alex by lowering the game's pain inhibitors, he sabotages the simulator and makes off with the advanced copy while also evading Damian's guards.
    • Jack has to distract Cray so Alex and Kyra can escape, even though she's in London while he's in Amsterdam. She accomplishes this by releasing a fake e-mail from Evelyn Anders' account to the entire world claiming that Feathered Serpent 2 has been delayed. When Cray goes to address this, Alex and Kyra make their escape.
    • Alex and Sabina stopping Cray from launching the nukes in the finale. Sabina even knocks out Evelyn.
  • Season 3
    • John Rider's rescue of Yassen Gregorovitch has been changed from the books, but it's no less awesome — after Yassen panics and is held at gunpoint by the bodyguard of a Properly Paranoid target, John nails him and the target with a double headshot, then dispatches both other guards in a matter of seconds. No wonder Yassen still looks up to John and respects his son.
