TOSC Chapter 15: Prayer Warrior's Creed

Written By: Thomas
Proofread By: Ebony
POV: Grover
Chapter Number: 12
Deaths: Benry (3), Idiosy (2)

Grover mentions that he's in Stalin Town, and has a new task, which apparently comes before his previously mentioned tasks to spy on Stalin and find the Romanovs. Two of Stalin's henchmen are creating a secret police, which will threaten the lives of the Christians in the city, including the church Grover established (apparently, Grover didn't agree with Clarisse's caution).

Grover, along with Rachel, decides to locate the first person, Benry, claiming that he wrote My Immortal. He decides to kill Benry while leaving Idiosy to Rachel.

Grover, taking up a position with a sniper rifle, finds Benry dealing drugs, which are apparently legal under Stalin, to two drug lords called Rika and Books. Benry sells them drugs at the rate of $10 per kilogram (disregarding that they're using American currency in Russia, this is unbelievably cheap, even in 1917 dollars), for a total of $20,000.

Books takes all 2,000 kg worth of drugs and then leaves with Rika too quickly for Grover to shoot him. Grover, however, decides to settle for his primary target, and shoots Benry in his head, thus blowing it apart.

Percy returns to the church and to Rachel, whom he reminds us is the first woman to be converted to Christianity after Percy was. He says that because of Rachel, he was saved from death many times; it's quite amusing that he would have died even more often without her help.

Rachel reminds us that Grover tasked him with killing a target, and, channeling the author a moment, says that Idiosy hacked her fanfiction account.

After trying to find him on an incorrect lead, she tracks him down to where he's skinny-dipping in a pool with his multiple wives, which, as might be expected, she reminds us is a sin. After the woman get out to take a shower (it's odd that they're washing themselves after spending so much time in the water), and Idiosy gets out to take a shower, she stabs him in the throat and the balls. She then escapes, but believes that she'll have to cover her tracks. In order to do so, she burns down the house with everyone inside, unnecessarily killing a large number of guards and wives who had done nothing wrong.

Grover, pleased with what they've accomplished, sends a letter to Jerry.

Next Installment: The Prayer Warriors face off against Stalin's army.
