Part Two: Poohladdin

Several things happened when we last left off Pooh and his friends. Pooh started his card game adventure by visiting The Pridelands to defeat Scar, who had been revived by Hades from Hercules to become his minion. Thankfully, Pooh and his friends have already defeated him.

Part Two out of Ten: Aladdin

Rabbit declares the mission a "sucess". Yay, our first typo in this Crossover! Piglet then evolves into his Book of Pooh form to declare that they need to find more portals. Tigger then searches as his Book of Pooh form in Christopher Robin's room for pieces of the Crystal of the Magic Kingdom. Congratulations, Tigger. This video has now made you into a total moron. Then, all of a sudden, Ash Ketchum and Mickey Mouse arrive from nowhere. No one seems to mind, though the inclusion of Pokémon characters raises quite a few questions. Ladies and gentlemen, that's how much Pooh's Adventures has Logical Fallacies. There's no way to freaking avoid it. You've just got tons of characters paired up for no real reason at all! And this is not even the worst of them...

Anyway, Pooh and his friends move on to the Aladdin themed portal, which is really badly recorded, with reflections of Daneil and everything! Genie serves as the their guide in this mission, while Merlin is at the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, but soon get's attacked by Jafar's men and Lago. Here, Hades... I mean Prince Azure, has acquired Jafar's lamp and uses him to capture Merlin, search for the crystal and to rule the Magic Kingdom. However, Jafar plans on trying to break free from Hades' control and trap him in the Cave of Wonders. Pikachu is not pleased.

While Genie goes to look for Merlin, Pooh and his friends then go and deal with Lago, who has been ordered by Jafar to use the Sultan's mystic blue diamond ring to uncover the whereabouts of the crystal. But before he returns to Jafar, Pooh and his friends eavesdrop on Lago and trick him into telling them the location of the crystal. Lago probably just wants them to go away from this already massive crossover. Lago uses magic to battle Pooh and the army of other characters. After they defeat Lago, Jafar fetches him and heads to the Cave of Wonders.

Meanwhile, Hades is frustrated with Jafar's lack of progress in finding Merlin and tells him to assume his original form. Jafar spies on Pooh and his friends and sends in a copy of his giant snake form to battle them while he goes after Merlin. Pooh and his friends then act Out of Character as they talk about the Crystal via unreadable subtitles. And that isn't even the worst part.

Pooh: (subtitles) And the crystal piece before the forces of evil.

(subtitles change)

Pooh: (still in subtitles) Rule the Magic Kingdom.

The problem here is that these subtitles seem to serve just as Padding rather than having any other purpose, and the fact that they have to use multiple sets of subtitles to have characters state the obvious makes the purpose of these videos quite questionable. In fact, Captain Obvious statements are the bread AND the butter of Pooh's Adventures. It never serves any real point because everything in them feels the same!

After defeating the snake, Genie heads off to deal with the guards while the Mickey Mouse frees Merlin from what Ash calls "trap" inside a lamp with the Sorcerer's Crest. But even after breaking out, Merlin and Genie have difficulties with Jafar inside the Cave and get captured. Lago flies in with Jafar's lamp during the chaos and Merlin manages to break free and fight Jafar, leaving Pooh and his "friends" which were forced into the story to retrieve the lamp from Lago's clutches and allowing Merlin to trap Jafar in his lamp again. That makes no sense to me! Why does everyone trust these flat characters to "do" the most important tasks in the story when all they are doing is watching and commenting. It's like if The Wizard of Oz had Dorothy doing all of the plot-crucial work and having all of her friends just watching and stating the obvious! It makes no sense, and it's not a good idea! Ash battles Jafar with Merlin, with no Pokémon involved for some strange reason. Genie as he breaks free and leaves with Merlin before Hades arrives. Merlin and Genie then congratulate Pooh and his pals and send them on another mission.

Where will Pooh and his friends visit next? Find out next time!
