While they have a sizable fandom and many are happy that they are getting recognition for their efforts, others are annoyed by the amount of advertising and involvement they get outside of their own shows, to the point that the YMMV page [[YMMV/RoosterTeeth for their parent company]] has them listed as a CreatorsPet.

* TheCastShowoff: For two months, at the start of every Demo Disk, Bruce would sing an all new song parody releating to Demo Disk to both the delight of the audience and the annoyance to everybody but Joel.

* CriticalResearchFailure: In the Demo Disk episode, [[https://youtu.be/yPZzULh_ojQ?t=17 "Rayman SUCKS"]], Bruce starts rattling off random trivia he knows about {{Film/Braveheart}}, including that principal photography only lasted 21 days. Unable to believe this, Adam and James [[Website/TheOtherWiki look it up]], only to find out that it lasted 42 days – exactly double of what Bruce has insisted every time they discuss Braveheart.

* EnsembleDarkhorse: Elyse and Peake are probably the least prominent of the core members, but are easily two of the most beloved and generally least controversial. Elyse particularly is considered this by Achievement Hunter, who consider her the only member they can't bring themselves to shit on.

** Also to Cow Chop for being a more edgy, comedy/skit based alternative to just gameplays, although in comparison to Cow Chop, Funhaus members' age is beginning to show.

* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: "Play That Demo", a parody of Weezer's "Say It Ain't So" done by Bruce. Unlike most of his Demo Disk songs, he had actually planned out most of the lyrics to the song and they fit well. It's Your Stage'', to come and celebrate, with clips from all the previous Dance! It's Your Stage sessions mashed together into an incredible sequence.

After finding out about [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWi1Dq3qgUA&feature=youtu.be&a his audition video]], Tim Schafer and the crew themselves contacted James during their celebration livestream and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLXZE6iYb18 actually offered him a voice part.]] Just try not to smile after James' face lights up after hearing the good news.
** Perhaps even better was his reaction to his friends and wife being in on the whole thing and doing their own pretend auditions. Talk about an incredible AscendedFanboy moment.

* MorePopularReplacement: Elyse to Spoole for some. For a time and due to bad timing it seemed like Elyse had come to replace Spoole, or at least that [[ReplacementScrappy Elyse couldn't fill the void he left]], now she's arguably one of the most [[EnsembleDarkhorse beloved members]]. And for people who didn't saw the IGN days and started watching the crew at Funhaus if anything Elyse has spend more time with the crew than Spoole.

* HilariousInHindsight: Crossing over a bit with HarsherInHindsight, many people joked that the reason early Funhaus video descriptions were so ''ridiculously detailed'' (to the point that a video series had an entire original ''Choose Your Own Adventure text serial'' in their descriptions) was because Joel (who wrote them) had nothing else to around the office. As it turns out, this is ''exactly'' what was happening, and the reason Joel quit.

* FandomRivalry: A really bizarre and one-sided example with LetsPlay/HatFilms. A VocalMinority Hatters are extremely hostile towards Funhaus on the subreddit, for reasons that are unclear.

* CrossedTheLineTwice: Part of their popularity comes from their willingness to cross lines the rest of Rooster Teeth are unwilling. Notably, Achievement Hunter will blank out anything that's too edgy, while Funhaus will dedicate multiple videos to it and turn them into a RunningGag. It helps a lot they ''don't actually believe'' any of the shit they say and do make it clear they're making fun of that mindset.

* EnsembleDarkhorse: Serves as one to all of Rooster Teeth, especially their gameplay videos' fans. Not surprising considering Inside Gaming was itself the EnsembleDarkhorse of Machinima. Mostly caused by their unapologetic politically incorrect style, contrasting a lot FH "TEAM FAGS!" or "Pedophile batman supervillains" with AH "Well, I can't say that..." and the fact that they're great at improvising comedy with a lot of fan-rewarding inside jokes.
** Among Funhaus themselves, Elyse, Lawrence and Peake.
