* NewerThanTheyThink: Dancougar's [[CoolSword Dankuuken]] does not appear until the ''Requiem for Victims'' OVA. The Dankuukougaken goes one further, not being used until ''God Bless Dancougar''.
** Traditionally, ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWars'' titles adapting the plot will give the Dankuuken to the mech by default, and some even allow the Dankuukougaken to be unlocked as soon as you have enough money to fully upgrade the normal attack.

* SeasonalRot: Some fans dislike the Blazing Epilogue OVA, for a number of reasons. Some include the different character designs, the fact that it's tonally very different from the rest of the franchise, that it completely shafts Masato's character for the sake of redeeming Shapiro of all people, that Shapiro himself comes back only to actually do very little until the finale, and that it feels much less like a finale than God Bless which nicely wrapped up everything to the point that Blazing Epilouge feels like it takes place before God Bless outside of the fact that Ryou is already married and Masato's father is dead. Most of these can be contributed to the fact that Blazing Epilouge had primarily a different staff behind it than the tv series or first 2 OVA, and Super Robot Wars Impact even addressed that last point by having Blazing Epilouge's events happen in-game before God Bless's.

* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic:
** The first Opening and Ending songs, "Love So Far Away" and "Burning Love".
** The opening to the God Bless Dancougar OVA. "Love is Miracle".
** Burning Rage. It's something of a BootstrappedTheme in the ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWars'' games.
** Hontou no Kiss, in particular the remixed version in ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsGC''. The fact that its considered one of the best, if not THE best remix in SRW says something.

* CompleteMonster: Gildorome is perhaps the single most depraved character in the series. While Death Gaia and Helmut are insane, their way of thinking is extremely straightforward. Shapiro, however, preferred his knowledge of Earth geography and his battle tactics to take down the Cyber Beast Force. Instead of using conventional methods, Gildorome preferred [[MindRape psychological methods]], such as using a Lotus-Eater Machine to hypnotize a whole town to kill them when they can't even fight back. In the end, his method caused the highest number of innocent victims in the most brutal way possible.

Fixed some spelling grammar

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: Frankenstein. The only character from Muge Zorbados Faction that actualy experienced being cared by a human and pulled a sort of HeelFaceTurn only to be killed off in a HeroicSacrifice. Admitably he goes against the whole point of the show, but that did not stop him from being an intresting character who can be used for some developments such as the first step towards peace, something that the team mentioned.
