Methinks the author of this webcomic reads a lot of Manga/{{Bleach}} fan fiction, and took some inspiration from the popular [[TheHero Ichigo]] and [[SuperPoweredEvilSide Hollow Ichigo]] ship.

** 16 ''is'' the age of consent in some countries and N has the mentality of a twelve year old (okay, that may also make the whole thing worse). N definitely thinks Black is much too young to go around the world getting into danger though.
** Now 22 and 17, respectively. Also, 17 is apparently the [[BigApplesauce New York]] age of consent.
*** The reason it is YMMV is that while it is legal, many people find relationship age gaps that large at a young age to be distasteful, out of a notion that the younger individual is being taken advantage of. This becomes especially Squicky (though again YMMV) when one considers that N started out as being Black's StalkerWithACrush and emotionally manipulated him into their current quasi-relationship.

** Though this was mainly caused by Greener, a self-proclaimed "unconscious troll" with several friendships and ShipperOnDeck situations on the boards, and is prone to random outbursts of violence, and Thundhurrus, the forum's resident {{Troll}} who is subject to HeelHate.

* TheScrappy: White is beginning to generate quite a bit of hate from the fanbase for her accomplishments. Despite being TheAce as the point of her character, she had almost no development for most of the story.
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: From all the CharacterFocus, ProtagonistCenteredMorality, and Curb-stomping she was dishing out, a few fans thought White would end up [[{{Deconstruction}} Deconstructed]] and [[BrokenAce go mad]],forcing Black to fight her once she did. Alas, despite a small nod to the theory via getting RedEyesTakeWarning from Zekrom, she stays a protagonist throughout it all.

Has all 8 badges by Chapter 19, Plasma (or anyone else for that matter) has never been able to win against her, completely wiped out Cheren's team without having a single pokemon of hers defeated, then proceeded to wipe the floor with the Elite Four's teams as well, and now [[spoiler: Zekrom's chosen her as his hero.]]

* SpotlightStealingSquad: These accusations are being thrown at White, due to her Elite Four battles (which she won with no effort at all) suddenly becoming the focus.
