Added Hilarious In Hindsight example.

Added DiffLines:

** In ''Pilot'', the Arbiter is introduced by delivering one such AuthorFilibuster regarding the Heroic Map Pack (which was 800 Microsoft Points, or ten dollars, at the time of the episode's release) not being worth it and how it would have been better off as a freebie. The map pack did become free on March 2008.

* ClicheStorm: The entirety of "Endgame".
* EnsembleDarkhorse: Greg [[spoiler: the spider]] has quite a few fans, to the point where they hope he returns for the next season. A completely different reception to what happened when Todd, Travis and Cortana were introduced.
** On the comments of pretty much all the new videos, there is at least a few people who really want [[spoiler:Greg to come back after disappearing in "Cheaters".]]
** Kevin from Season 6 also seems to have quite a few fans.

Were Still Relevant Dammit is not a trope anymore

* WereStillRelevantDammit: In "Future Shock", Jon attempts to catch Chief up with the times by showing him as having retroactively engaged in current GIFT behavior all along, such as being a fan of Pepe The Frog (while he was big into memes in earlier seasons, Pepe was never one of them and it hadn't become mainstream at that point) and having him throw around "cuck" and the N-Word casually ("Cuck" never entered the mainstream as an insult until after Chief killed himself, and old Chief would have NEVER used the N-Word casually, believing that "[[EveryoneHasStandards RACISMS ARE ILLEGAL]]").

Not YMMV

* BlackAndGreyMorality: While most present in season 7 where both Chief and Arbiter are in clear physical and moral decay, the series as a whole can be broadly defined as such. It's far easier to see two trash talking shut ins who's competing neuroses comes to harm both themselves and those near more than they produce any scant, tangible good as heroes when placed beside villains who range from common, rampaging trolls who only have a mind for causing general discord to what may as well be cyber terrorists who moonlight as all colors of bullies, abusers (domestic, sexual, animal...), and even prank callers...

* BellisariosMaxim: It's better if you don't question why the players in the online games shown in the series don't just play the game and instead have their characters behave like they're acting out a scene in a Machinima or something by standing around and talk, have their weapons lowered and walk instead of run.
