* InsaneTrollLogic: Squid's dog was found in a desert. Deserts contain sand. Beaches also contain sand. Beaches are by the sea. Crabs live in the sea. Hermit crabs are a type of crab. So, Squid decides to name his dog Hermit.
* IResembleThatRemark: At one point, Squid comments "You're very oblivious to everything, Stampy, aren't you?". Stampy never replies to this, and seems totally oblivious to the fact that Squid said it.

** He says he expects the LP to be quite short. It ended up spanning [[LongRunners four years and two hundred and twenty five episodes]], making it one of his longest series to date.
