Marina comes up with an idea to use Zig as a fin, and they go to the opera, while Zig obviously has problems with it, but he is punched by Sharko]]).

Zig is presented with plenty of opportunities to get food or hunt someone else to eat throughout the show, but the show never really presents this as a viable option for him, and he ALWAYS opts to eating Marina specifically. You'd think if he was hungry, he'd take the easy way out and just eat something that'd take less effort to get. After all, he constantly gets beaten by Sharko and never manages to catch Marina anyways. This even goes against how Hyenas function in nature; they usually hunt weak, sick, or old animals to eat since it's easier, while Zig goes after a mermaid whom [[HundredPercentAdorationRating literally everyone likes ]] and [[BodyguardCrush is constantly guarded by a giant walking shark.]] But the reason he's always hunting Marina is because she is his only option for food, as he's some weird breed of hyena that can only live off of eating mermaids.

* In Season 1, Sharko & Marina lived in a underwater house, and she would sit on a stool for the majority of the time. But in Seasons 2 & 3, the house is not even seen underwater, not mentioned, they just settled in the Sand Castle

Red is not a natural eye color. Also, in ''Lighting Love'', when his mind warps into a baby state, we are treated to a scene where he is shown as an actual baby - ''and his eyes are not red.''
* This actually makes sense. This would explain why some of the other animals seem to be afraid of him. It could also explain how he survives all his injuries- whatever is possessing him can regenerate its physical body.

Zig is cloned by Bernie, and actually dies in every episode. Whenever he is burned, or mercilessly beaten, or whatever he either dies from his wounds or is disposed of by Bernie. My proof is in the episode "A Tale of Two Legs," where we Zig gets beaten by the angry gorilla offscreen. The only problem is, in almost every episode, he screams as he is beaten, but this time, he doesn't. It's because he was KILLED. Then we see Bernie taking a bunch of Zig parts out of a box and assembling them into a new Zig, which then replaces the old one.

Only half of his pain is caused by Maverick Virus. Another half is caused by [[FateWorseThanDeath eternal mental and physical pain]] he got from [[TheBully Sharko]] and his strong arms. How that makes sense? He is nicknamed [[MeaningfulName Crazy Warrior Cloaked In Flames]]. It is his soldier nickname, just like [[{{Megaman X5}} the Skiver]], whose nickname is [[MeaningfulName Air Force Prince, likely implying his rank at the Air Force, being their director]]. Meaning that Maverick Virus didn't make him that - he was ''always'' that. And Zig surely would have mental issues after Sharko's hard, head-slamming fist. And he is a hyena. Water is not only his physical weakness, it is his mental weakness, rewaking memories with Sharko from his previous life and, thus, powering the pain. And Hyenard's cloning ability. Zig can't clone himself, but he did build lookalike robots that were exactly clones of Zig. Maybe he did build this robot as an armor, or his personality was coded and uploaded on Flame Hyenard.

Marina also does not, but when she "cares", it is because she wants to look like good. What's worser is that ''her song charms, forces to fall in love with her and summons anyone to her''. We see that in ''EVERY'' episode, but particularly in Cruising, where she sings and Zig becomes infatuated with her to the point that he rides his wooden ship to spikes. She's a siren, and we know that sirens killed in Ancient Greece. Her goal is to get the critters' trust and then steal from them and make them her slaves. And Zig knows that.

My point is: Marina and Sharko aren't heroes - they are the {{Lawful Evil}}, and they want to keep all the influence. Notice: they are TOO vile to be the heroes, even to count as [[{{Anti Hero}} anti heroes]], as Sharko is noticeably sadistic
to Zig and others. Marina is not safe from this too - she sometimes injures and/or uses injured animals as her jewelry. However, her songs are very much hypnotic (as shown in "Marina Superstar", because she was singing one song ''all the time'' and the animals still liked that, [[spoiler: and in the "Cruising", because her song hypnotized Zig and Bernie]].), thus allowing her to manipulate others and getting what she wants.
