[[WMG: Much like Film/T2Trainspotting, the next entry in the series will happen after the actors have all aged several years.]]
The next entry might be called something like Steven Universe: Quantum and is a {{Reconstruction}} of the series, much like how ''WesternAnimation/StevenUniverseFuture'' was a {{Deconstruction}} of the original show. Quantum takes place 10 or 20 years after ''Steven Universe Future'' and has Steven and Connie having finally found their place in the world. After a fateful return to Beach City, they meet the Crystal Gems and an elderly Greg who have some news for them.

The peace of Homeworld is under threat from a group consisting of Steven's past foes and several new faces looking to test their mettle against the herald of Era 3, and they're planning an invasion of Earth next.
It's been years since Steven and the Crystal Gems have fought, but at times like these, it's good to know that Steven's family will always have his back.

The series is a reconstruction of the original show formula of meeting new faces, interacting with the people of Beach City and exploring the world and lore of the shows universe in addition to meeting up with old favourites. It also explores the passage of time and what happens when a KidHero is now an adult who must come to terms with the changes of life and that some things must eventually fade...

'''Protagonists''': Steven Universe, Connie Maheswaran, Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, Bismuth, Peridot, Lapis Lazuli, Jasper, [[VideoGame/SaveTheLight Hessonite]], Nephrite, Greg Universe and Lion.
'''Antagonists''': [[LegionOfDoom The Anticrystal Order]] (Bluebird Azurite, Holly Blue Agate, Emerald, [[VideoGame/SaveTheLight Squaridot, Pyrope, and Demantoid]], Mean Lapis, Bloodstone and Citrine) and the [[AlternateSelf Otherworld Diamonds]] (Lavender Diamond, Purple Diamond, Plum Diamond and Rose Gold Diamond).

Up To Eleven is a defunct trope

Garnet foresaw that Steven would have trouble budgeting his time and get stressed out and warned him about it to avoid the crisis. The two of them made the PSA that makes up the episode's plot, [[UpToEleven exaggerating the disastrous consequences]] to get the point across.

Asexuality is now a disambiguation page.

Either because she's physically unable to (perhaps because of another defect due to being an Era 2 gem), or because it makes her extremely uncomfortable. The other Gems will encourage her to fuse, but ultimately they'll learn a lesson about accepting her the way she is. The whole episode will have implicit {{Asexuality}} undertones.

Dewicking Not So Different as it is now a disambig.

The WD-like being in the introduction is actually White herself while arguing with Steven. But, depending on how it rolls, White might not even be that much of an antagonist compared to the rest, and might even call out Steven on how he's becoming [[NotSoDifferent too much like herself]].

** The healing process was exactly the same as every other corrupted gem: he was immersed in water and the essence of all four Diamonds. We even see his tears drop into the water and turn it pink before he changes back. Even the part before that was similar to what Steven did for Centipeetle when he tried to uncorupt her, eased her pain and brought her peace by bringing her to her ship and crew.

* As the 5th Diamond's existence was neither Confirmed nor Jossed, here are some things that might've happened to her if she does indeed exist:
** Not wanting to deal with any more of his mom's baggage, Steven either hid Black Diamond's shards somewhere (likely in Rose's room or buried somewhere in the woods like what Jasmine did) or left them in Lion's mane, and may or may not plan on revisiting them when he feels like he's ready to do so.
** Black Diamond was healed off-screen and, surprisingly, wasn't much of a threat. She may not even remember all her memories as Green Diamond due to being in pieces for so long (and if White remembers Green, she made sure neither Green/Black herself nor any of the Diamonds and Era 0 Gems will ever remember her in fear that Black might seek revenge if she gets her memories back). Black now lives somewhere in either Homeworld or Little Homeworld.
*** If Black was healed sometime after "Homeworld Bound" then she now helps Yellow with healing shattered Gems.
* Jossed.

[[WMG: "That's not Steven anymore!"]]
That was '''Pink Diamond'''. ''White Diamond found Pink in Steven's gem'' when she used her power on him in "I am My Monster". That's why White was the only one to bring up Pink afterwards while no one else did, not even the other Diamonds. Now White has a (another?) secret to keep for eons.

Note that this doesn't necessarily mean Pink was in control of Monster Steven. If the scene with Steven puppeteering pink "White" in the mindscape from "Homeworld Bound" is any indication, it's been hinted that Pink's gem and powers are mostly if not fully under Steven's control.

Even the return of Cookie Cats in "The Future" hints at the return of Pink herself, now shaped by Steven's memories like how Steven made the new Cookie Cats. And considering the distorted crying faces of the new Cookie Cats... Pink isn't happy about what's been happening.
