''Devil World'' is a MazeGame developed by Creator/{{Nintendo}} for the UsefulNotes/NintendoEntertainmentSystem. It was one of the many simple games created for the console in its early years, and was the first game designed by the partnership of Creator/ShigeruMiyamoto and Takashi Tezuka that would go on to create ''VideoGame/SuperMarioBros1'' and ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaI''. The game was released in Japan in 1984 and brought to Europe in 1987. It was later re-released on the UsefulNotes/VirtualConsole in both regions for UsefulNotes/{{Wii}} in 2008, then on UsefulNotes/Nintendo3DS in 2013. North America had not imported the game (presumably due to its religious themes) until October 2023, when the game was made available as part of the NES catalogue for the UsefulNotes/NintendoSwitch Online subscription, this time worldwide.

Creepy Cool Crosses has been renamed to Creepy Crosses as per this TRS threadZero Context Examples and examples that don’t fit the trope will be removed. The trope is about crosses being used as a symbol of the occult.

* CreepyCoolCrosses: Not only are there crosses on the Bibles, but crosses are also the item that lets Tamagon eliminate the dots, and the maze also has big cross-shaped walls.
