In the end she was just another Yuria that Dr. Akiba couldn't keep in his grasp]].

Yuria, being a Dutch Wife, is programmed to have sex at any opportunity. Once she does have sex (specifically, if Tab A is inserted]] [[IKEAErotica into Slot B]]), she will be permanently and forever imprinted as a sex slave to the person with whom she has had sex. Problem is, she is a little more self-aware than her creator intended and is able to realize the consequences if she is imprinted, and starts to think maybe she doesn't really want that to happen. She questions her programming and eventually starts wondering if what she feels for Shunsuke is truly love, [[WhatMeasureIsANonHuman or if she is really just a preprogrammed robot]] after all.

* LoserProtagonist: Yuria's inventor, Doctor Akiba. Yuria is the ''100th'' model of SexBot in his research...
** Although, some real world prototype designations assign a new number to EVERY variation. Even ones that never get past the concept stage. Its easy to see how he'd go through numbers pretty quickly. If anything, the fact Yuria herself is only model 100 is impressive. Considering all his ideas failed though, he still qualifies for this trope.
** When they did work, they immediately ran away from him.
** Technically the Model 28 didn't fail, since it's really nothing more than a blow-up doll, and standard fall-back model every time a newer one utterly rejects him.
** All of which overlooks the fact that he's made an entire career out of trying to make a sex bot that will have sex with him, and so far none of them will.

* MyNameIsNotDurwood: Kunihiko gets from Lucy all the time, with she being a total parody of a hardcore perverted american porn star, Lucy mispronounce Kunihiko as ''Cuninhiko'' which is a mash up of Kunihiko with ''cuninligus'', oddly enough later many of Kunihiko and Lucy running gags are Kunihiko unwillingly praticing, well, exactly what his name implies, on Lucy.

* OnlySixFaces: Maria and Yuria have almost the exact same design, the biggest differences being their hair styles. Because of this, in chapter 21 Yuria was able to pretend to be Maria in a girlfriend contest. There are also many similarities in the designs for most of the recurring male characters.

*** In the volume 7 closer, Type 56 Doubt, it is revealed that Maria knows nothing about male genitalia and took her rival in love Yuria's advice on how to stroke someone and was generally surprised when she made her fiance explode. All while him moaning just trying to find a solid reason to get Maria off of him. He didn't make it.
* RapeIsLove: Yuria and Shunsuke are listening to a radio call-in show in the car about "What is love." One caller says that they believe "you can't have sex without love." So Yuria [[DeusSexMachina naturally decides]] to force Shunsuke to have sex with her because she hopes it will help her find out if [[WhatMeasureIsANonHuman what she feels for him is really love.]] The scene is still played up for some comedy but it's actually quite serious and touching, especially when [[TheWoobie Yuria]] is left even more confused than ever at the end.

* SexBot: Yuria, obviously. All of the female characters so far except Maria and Louie's roommate Kaoru.

* SuperPoweredRobotMeterMaids: Milder than most examples, Both the Yuria and Lucy series could potentially cause serious damage if they used their full strength. Lucy 3.5 sports a foot long penis that can break through a ''door''.

* YaoiFanGirl: Louie's roommate Kaoru misunderstands the situation and promises to help Louie make Shunsuke "His" first [[{{Uke}} receiver]] (and Louie herself! She refers to Kaoru's collection of BL as "a mountain of treasure").
