* Kriea in KnightsOfTheOldRepublic2 assumes the player (if male) only accepts Visas and the Handmaiden into the party because he might get to have sex with them. Those dialogue trees have some insanely fully UnusualEuphemisms, including such gems as "charge up her loading ramp."

* A good example of this and AllWomenArePrudes is in the Paco Rabanne perfume adverts. In the one targeted at men, (the 1 Million perfume) a man clicks his fingers and a womens [[DressHitsTheFloor dress falls off]], in the Lady Million perfume advert a women clicks her fingers and marraige ring appears on her finger.

** Well, technically, these were all made legitimately on the grounds that they do constitute a common occurrence in the entertainment industry. In other words, TvTropes is just indexing it, not creating the tropes themselves. Overall, I would blame not even the industry, it's the audience demographics that give the demand for it.

** "Mesmerized" or simply "surprised for a quarter-second which was long enough for him to hit her"? Also, was she standing right in the street or something? If she was on the sidewalk, the driver would've had to jerk the car to the right/left HARD to even get close to her at any decent speed.

*In a social experiment, a man was told to ask women if they would 'sleep' with him and a woman the same to men. 100% of women said no, but 75% of men said yes, but the conclusion was not that men are perverts, but that women are sexually repressed.
** I don't know about you but I'm iffy on those studies. In a psychology book I read, it said that most women thought about sex around an average once a week. As a woman, I'm lucky to make it 5 hours without it cropping up at least once. There were also a large number saying they only thought about sex once a month or more.
*** Any decent psychology textbook will state that most women, as well as some men, are rarely honest about their sexual feelings and that few if any studies regarding female sexuality will often have inaccurate statistics. One such study said that 90% of American men and 60% of American women have masturbated, or, as this troper's friend put it, "ten percent of men and forty percent of women are liars." (Or, as the Dead Alewives put it in their "Captain Jerk" sketch, "Wow. Why is women's number so much lower?" "No one's quite sure, but think about it: do you ''really'' think they need to take so many long baths?")

You can theorize, as your friend apparently did: 'I have done it, my friends who I have talked about with it have done it, therefore everyone must have', or you can try to gather empirical data. (Hint: the article points out that intelligent people had less sex after marrying than less intelligent married couples.)
*** Another thing any decent psychology textbook/study/etc. will tell you is that anything that purports to measure how many times someone thinks about sex in a given time period is completely off the mark and/or fallacious. So many complicating factors come in for gathering data on this alone. At most these "statistics" (can we put 5 quotation marks around a word?) merely reflect the social stereotypes according to which, well, AllMenArePerverts but women don't think about sex, ever.
