Beautiful art, imaginative creature designs, and surprisingly a lot of compelling, genuinely emotional stories interwoven into its natural history narrative. It also does a fantastic job at presenting and explaining the concept of evolution, creating these utterly improbable creatures that yet still somehow manage to believable with how the author details them and their origins. We need this project in book form ASAP!

They managed to bring so many clever and funny {{Alternative Character Interpretation}}s, some of which are actually very well-thought out and incredibly close to {{Canon}} like Gohan's [[BewareTheNiceOnes rage fits]] and his {{lampshad|e}ing of his terrible childhood. In other words, great writing, incredible voice acting, and editing that makes this show look like it belongs on Creator/AdultSwim!

It crosses the line so much there ain't even a recognizable line anymore, but Doctor Robotnik loudly swearing followed by an explosion and ten minutes of dick jokes will never, ''ever'' stop being funny. Crazy, offensive, SoBadItsGood humour. Wacky characters. All the memes it's created (such as Gaston, Morshu's MMMM, and pingas). And some great poopers like WebAnimation/{{Waxonator}}, WebAnimation/WalrusGuy, DinnerWarrior, etc.

** More than just the WebVideo/PotterPuppetPals. The works of Creator/NeilCicierega, PERIOD! BRODYQUEST, The Music/UltimateShowdownOfUltimateDestiny, Lemon Demon, etc. [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking Not to mention he originated]] WebAnimation/{{animutation}}, with the likes of Hyakugojyuuichi.

Now, it has become nothing short of masterful, from cinematography to the brilliant voice acting (oh god, The Director and ''Agent Washington'' and '''Caboose''') to the ''plot''. Rock on, Rooster Teeth.

* WebAnimation/WarhammerIdolMonth. Despite the out-there premise and relatively uncritical parodying of [[IdolSinger a toxic industry]], this series is legitimately awesome. Not only are the (almost all) entirely up to Stringstorm's usual high standards, the characterization of both the characters and the factions they represent is dead-on, in both their overt onscreen words and lyrics, and [[FridgeBrilliance more subtle implications and undertones and themes]]. Stringstorm's love for 40k shows in every song and clip.

* WebAnimation/TheFrolloShow. If you thought that Frollo from ''WesternAnimation/TheHunchbackOfNotreDame'' was one of Disney's greatest villains, then you'll enjoy seeing him in wacky shenanigans with his best friend [[WesternAnimation/BeautyAndTheBeast Gaston]] and a barrel-full of other characters.

* The Literature/WhateleyUniverse. It's not perfect, but the good parts of it are ''amazing''. The utter hilarity of the Jade stories, and the Jobe stories, and the Chaka stories. The richness and complexity of the Phase stories. The Crowning Moments of Awesome. There should be a picture of Jade Sinclair, codename Generator, on the TV Tropes page for CrazyAwesome.

* ''WebAnimation/BattleForDreamIsland''! I just love this show!!! The concept (AnimateInanimateObject characters compete in a game show to win a luxury island (and YOU get to vote who loses!)) is strange and the first few episodes are weird with the artstyle and pre-pubescent kids voices (Michael and Cary were around 12 when they started), but over the course of 10 years and 4 seasons, it got way better! You'll get used to the weird humor, and the characters get more likable over time (I only dislike a few characters out of the total 70+.) Sorry for using all these exclamation points and parentheses, but I just can't help myself!!!

What's so amazing about it is how low budget it is: it's all done in stop-motion with action figures and homemade sets, one guy voice all of the male characters (and one girl voices all of the female characters), and yet the writing is incredibly witty and entertaining. It's also the only series that lets you see Franchise/{{Batman}} put the ComicBook/GreenGoblin and ComicBook/LexLuthor on sedatives (for plot purposes), which causes them to sing and discuss things like whether Tuesday and Wednesday have their own feel and which ''ComicBook/IncredibleHulk'' film they prefer. And it's all pretty family-friendly. You really can't find that anywhere else.

%%*** I really like Linkara's WebVideo/HistoryOfPowerRangers. I never saw the earlier series of Power Rangers, but just watching it makes me wish I did. He talks about themes, character development, and it's just a really fun series to watch. He just finished the Zordon era, and his In Space review has to be my all time favorite so far. His very next one (Lost Galaxy) was almost as epic, with of course some humor, and some genuinely shocking moments for me with the destruction of the space colony and the death of Kendrix, and a surprisingly toughing analysis of how the villains had a certain chivalrous code that made you feel genuinely bad for some of them and how Villamax was actually a noble being, if not still evil. All around, it's an excellent show to watch, and a pleasure to learn the expanded history of power rangers from him.

He's a CausticCritic, but his criticism is level-headed and well thought-out even when he isn't, and he's willing to give compliments and point out when the comic he's reading doesn't totally suck. He's willing to try new things, like reviewing an okay comic (''X-Men #1'') and his recent week of having his {{Drop In Character}}s host. He manages to work in epic plotlines while still doing his primary job--reviewing the comic--and his battle scenes have surprisingly little SpecialEffectsFailure. While most HP parodies are just pointing and mocking, this is one parody made for fans, by fans. It really brings you back to the universe in a thoroughly nostalgic mash-up of the seven books.

''WebVideo/DragonBallZAbridged'' is one of the few parodies that I can honestly say I find to be better than the original. It's witty and yet doesn't lose sight of the story it's telling. No two people play the same game with the exact same style. Opening doors to great games and great people. And of course, WebVideo/{{Retsupurae}} for setting a standard. With all the Let's players taking shots at themselves with Retsupurae jokes, you know they've made a strong positive impact on an already amazing genre.

Not only is the series excellently framed, the writing and characterization are brilliant and in keeping with the atmosphere of the [[Film/TheDarkKnightTrilogy Nolan-Batverse]]. [[ContinuityNod The nods to]] [[MythologyGag other parts of the mythology]] are made so that the series doesn't coast on FanService, but adds to the enjoyment of it for quick-minded Bat-fans. This is a landmark in fan-film history.

%%* A lot of the Website/YouTube reviewers in the wake of the AVGN either have been completely forgotten and never got off the ground, evolved into their own persona (much like The Spoony Experiment), or actually WERE pretty successful in terms of subscribers, but have dropped off due to any number of reasons. One particular reviewer that I really liked for whatever reason, and I always had a soft spot for, is the user named "Darkness The Curse". People have criticized him from the beginning, amplified when Retsupurae arrived and did a riff on his "review" of Brave Fencer Musashi. Still, no matter what others said, I always found something to like. He was funny, genuine, even informative. Say what you will on how the quality of it turns out, but I admire him for the effort. He is currently sharing an account with some other users ( [[https://www.youtube.com/user/OhMyGodMyFriendLived#p/u Oh My God My Friend Lived]]) but has not done much with it, as he had stated. Still, over 100 of his videos have been salvaged in a user account called [[https://www.youtube.com/user/TheDarknessArchives TheDarknessArchives]].

On top of all that, it's far scarier and more fascinating than any big-budget Hollywood horror-flick I've ever seen, and it manages to do this ''on a budget of practically nil''. It's just the sort of thing that Website/YouTube exists for: to give amateurs a chance to show that they have as much talent as the professionals. And ''boy'', do they ever.

%%* {{LetsPlay/LetsRaceWithRPGM}} is one of Youtube's hidden gems. Whenever these people race a game, it puts a smile on my face. Whether they're letting their personalities bounce off each other, engaging in hilarious commentary, or raging to high difficulty, they make for some of the best entertainment I've seen on Youtube.

Considering how the internet tends towards AccentuatingTheNegative, this is a very, very refreshing change of pace. So... I guess I'm [[ShapedLikeItself gushing about gushing?]]

%%** I like Darkness The Curse, in fact, he's one of the few Youtube Rant Guys, I don't regret watching. And trust, liking people like Creator/RandomDCE and WebVideo/BigAl2k6 was a huge OldShame for me.

Eli Stone has been making reviews since 2009, and while his early videos were very low quality due to a bad camera and other factors, he improved A LOT over the years. He reviews a variety of animated media, from Western animation to anime, and the occasional live-action movie when he feels like it. While his videos aren't as polished and high budget as, say, Nostalgia Critic or Linkara, his work is still very well done, and even informative at times. I first discovered him when he made his review of ''WesternAnimation/EightCrazyNights'', which was inevitably compared to Critic's review. It didn't wow me at first, but when I watched more of his videos, I slowly grew to like him, and now he's one of my favorite reviewers ever! Some of his videos do have a few duds and hiccups here and there, but nobody's perfect. Check him out if you can! He's really cool!

%%* WebVideo/MrCoat is an incredibly underrated content producer. While he does movie reviews (for an actual website), his video topics can be about anything, and he always hosts with a positive, yet laid-back demeanor. Even when discussing a subject he dislikes, he doesn't rant about it, and tries to understand why said topic appeals to others. He sets an example that more content producers should follow, and that is why I'm a proud fan of his.
