* Sonic was about to [[SaveTheVillain save Eggman]] from his own trap... until he realized that the evil doctor had nearly all the Chaos Emeralds already and was planning to take the last one from Sonic one way or another before defeating him -- complete with [[StylisticSuck cheesy little animations]] of Eggman dancing triumphantly and an [[WingdingEyes X-eyed dead Sonic with flies and stink lines.]] Unamused, Sonic instead [[GoodIsNotNice decides to smack the bomb and lower the remaining time left to five seconds,]] before [[HoistByHisOwnPetard speeding off and leaving Eggman to be blown up.]]
* In episode 2, Eggman smacking Sonic sky-high with his drills, complete with rings flying out of him. He [[FacePlant faceplants on the beach.]].

** Knux gets a thought bubble as he imagines potential thieves for the Master Emerald: Eggman and Heavy King looking menacing... and Sonic, waving with a hilariously dopey face.

** Just the ''name'' of the episode is a hilarious in-joke: "Part 3: & Knuckles"
* Upon meeting Ray again in episode 4, Mighty lightheartedly punches him in the arm. [[DoesNotKnowHisOwnStrength Ray is sent flying immediately]].

* In episode 3, Knuckles' paranoia goes into overdrive here. His reaction to Ray the Flying Squirrel wanting to touch the Master Emerald? Grab him by the head, load him up like a shotput and launch him over the horizon.

* Somebody decided to make a rather mean-spirited yet funny [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ATRBrixJNY fanmade Trailer for Amy]]. Like [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ATRBrixJNY Mighty and Ray's reveal trailer]], a black-and-white sketched Amy is trying to get into the colored-in elevator Sonic and the gang are about to go up. [[spoiler: Instead of shaking Amy's hand like he did with Mighty, Sonic gives her [[DisapprovingLook the most incredulous expression he can possibly muster]] while the elevator doors close on Amy, leaving her hanging. * When starting Chemical Plant, a cutscene plays where your character of choice gets splattered by chemicals just before starting the stage. No matter who you choose, their reaction is priceless. Tails even had a DummiedOut animation for this cutscene where [[MundaneUtility he dries himself off with his tails.]] (In the final game, he simply looks up.)

* Just about all of the facial expressions can get a chuckle out of at least someone. It IS Tyson Hesse, after all

** Tails looks just as confused, if a little less so since him being a lot smarter than Sonic means he's probably more familiar with ''VideoGame/PuyoPuyo'' than Sonic was. It's a battle of the geniuses!

* After defeating [[spoiler:Metal Sonic Kai]] in Stardust Speedway, the Phantom Ruby looks [[HopeSpot ready to be taken out of Eggman's hands]]... Only for a robot to knock it offscreen before the player can get to it.

* Sonic and Doctor Robotnik [[spoiler: getting into a classic hand slap fight over a Chaos Emerald]] It's funny to see these decades old enemies brought down to the level of children.
