** Um... lemurs are herbivores, they don't eat flesh. The skeletons we see in the movie probably just had their flesh rot away or eaten by ants and other scavengers. Still gruesome.

* It's established in the first film that humans can't understand the animals when they talk, so what's up with all the dialog that Alex has with DuBois in the third movie? But then you notice that DuBois never replies to Alex because she can't, of course, understand him.
* Phil the chimp can read, though he can't speak. This is established in the first movie when his reading ability is required by the penguins to determine where they are going... yet in the third movie, Kowalski can quickly and easily read DuBois' (likely criminal) file. The negotiations in the second movie may have involved knowledge exchange as well as the inexplicable maternity leave...

* During the climax of "Europe's Most Wanted", when it looked like Alex had escaped, why was DuBois so intent on taking down Stefano instead of going after her true quarry? Because Stefano is, as he proudly proclaimed before being shot from a cannon, a sea ''lion''. DuBois may have considered him a reasonable substitute if Alex had escaped.

** When Alex chases the fossa away from his friends, he roars at them that they're on his territory. So it could be that he scared them so much that they'll be sticking to their own side of the island, too afraid to go near where the lemurs live.

**** The humans were opponents / enemies, the penguins were getting rid of them so they couldn't interfere. The other animals were "in the same boat" as the penguins, so to speak. On the boat against their will. Also, these are the same "psycopaths" who were willing to risk themselves to help someone they barely knew, so surely they have some standards.

Everyone else already left, so it's just King Julien word that the sacrifice worked. On the other hand, Alex and company know about the demolished dam and there is no reason to think that they didn't tell to the other animals.

It was a one-off joke, don\'t overreact. You\'re also assuming Marty and Alex are the same age.

* Gia's joke about being five (in human years) becomes less funny when you remember that Alex was somewhere around ten in the first film. [[hottip:note:We can assume this because the main four were born around the same time, according to the second.]] Gia is probably the equivalent of 16-23 in cat years, and Alex would probably be at LEAST in his thirties. (And we don't know how many years the third takes place after the first.) Whatever the equivalent is, Alex is at least TWICE as old as Gia. [[{{Squick}} Let that idea sink in for a moment...]]
** Well, if it's closer to the 23, it's not THAT bad. And the age of consent is a bit lower in Europe. Plus, they're animals, not people.

* Near the end of ''Europe's Most Wanted'' when the circus animals discover the Zoosters are zoo animals, Stefano asks "Is your name even Alice?" to which Alex replies "No, but it never really was." Now, it's obvious by this point, Alex let that whole mispronunciation thing slide, but assuming he knew Stefano meant to say "Alex", it's also true that that was never really his name - in ''Escape 2 Africa'', we learn he was born "Alakay."

[[AC:FridgeHorror]]
* So Alex was the only one protecting the lemurs from the fossa, right? Well, considering that Alex and his friends left the island in Number 2...
* The lemurs honestly believe that the sacrifice of [[spoiler: the shark]] brought the water back. So does this mean they're going to sacrifice somebody every time there's a drought now?
* It's not obvious at first glance, but you can see that Alex, the Penguins and the other recurring characters are not the only characters on the liner in the first film. (Containers marked with "Rhinoceros" and stuff like that.) None of these other animals are ever seen anytime else...which means that they're ''still on the ship'' '''more than likely DEAD''' while the gang is in Paris.
