Five Man Band is undergoing a wick-cleaning project, so examples featuring groups of more than five will be deleted.

* FiveManBand: The Five Kage, as the heads of the Allied Shinobi Forces.
** TheHero[=/=]TheLeader: Naruto, as Hokage. Without Danzo's actions to destroy Konoha's political reputation, Naruto is easily declared the Supreme Leader of the Allied Shinobi Forces, with support from both A and Gaara. When he's forced to enter the battlefield after his location is discovered, not only does he turn the tide of every battle in the war, but also serves as a massive morale booster for the army.
** TheLancer: A and Gaara share this interchangeably. With Naruto hiding on Turtle Island training for the beginning of the war, he installs A in his place to head the alliance until he returns. Gaara is the Regimental Commander, so that means he leads all the ground forces directly, and is also the closest to Naruto besides Tsunade.
** TheSmartGuy: Tsunade (by virtue of Shikaku) and Onoki, the most experienced of all of the Five Kage.
** TheBigGuy: They all qualify, but in pure physical strength it's a toss up between Onoki and Tsunade, with A a close third.
** TheChick: Mei is the one who deals with matters not directly related to the war effort -- such as guarding the Daimyos and aiding Onoki when Turtle Island is attacked by Edo Tensei. Conversely, Gaara could also count as TheHeart, since it was him who united the ground forces with his heartfelt, passionate speech.
** SixthRanger: Mifune, who is not one of the Five Kage (or even a shinobi, for that matter) but still a head of state that is aiding in the war effort as General of the Fifth Division.

This or these examples of Surprisingly Realistic Outcome seem to violate at least one of these rules, which disqualifies them: No character reactions (characters get angry, don't forgive, don't change their personality instantly, etc.); Too fantastical (depends on the properties of magic, powers, sci-fi tech, monsters, etc.); Not surprising (a character was warned about the outcome, it's used to provide Karma or An Aesop, or it simply follows normal conventions for this genre or medium); Plot happens (the example only describes an event, but not why audiences would expect a different, unrealistic outcome); Not an outcome (a character just explains why something wouldn't work as expected, or something is just an innate aspect of the setting or character that has a logical reason for being present); More of a Deconstruction (the event has major, lasting effects on the plot, make something more realistic, but not completely realistic, or a parody/fanwork applies realistic consequences to the events of a different work); or fits better under a different trope. See the trope's definition for more details. If you believe a removal was a mistake, please bring it up in the cleanup thread.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome:
** When he receives the news about Team Taka’s attempt to capture Killer B, Naruto accepted that what Sasuke did is unacceptable and chooses to put him in the bingo books. As much as he would like to keep his promise and bring Sasuke back, he is now Hokage and thus cannot put any of his personal desires ahead of the village.
** When Sasuke joins the Allied Forces after Naruto beats him, this puts the Alliance on edge, especially those from Konoha, as Sasuke is a wanted criminal who is last seen being on the same side as Tobi.
** While Naruto and Sasuke have reached the same level of strength as Hashirama and Madara in their primes, their lack of experience means they're still inferior combatants compared to the latter two.
** Danzo, on top of the body modifications he had in canon, has even more Hashirama DNA grafted into him (to the point that it makes almost 90% of his body), and a [[spoiler:''[[StoryBreakerPower Rinnegan]]'' transplant]]. So, when he fights Sasuke, he should crush him like a bug, right? And indeed, the fight goes his way...at first. Then Sasuke gains the upper hand. Because, as Sasuke himself points out, no amount of body modifications is going to change the fact that Danzo is in his ''seventies'' and can't compete with somebody almost as strong who is in his prime. On top of that, Danzo isn't the original wielder of those Bloodline Limits, so he can't use them as good as the people who were born with them, and drain his power very quickly, contributing to Danzo getting exhausted even quicker.
** Unlike in canon where he ultimately got a slap on the wrist, Sasuke ended up being punished for his actions prior to the War after it ended, first by being imprisoned and then being required to spend time in the Land of Iron by working for the families of the samurais that he killed during the Gokage Summit.
** While they managed to save most of the population and even rebuild their village, Kumogakure is currently a shadow of what it once was due to the Land of Lightning suffering the most damage from the war. Most of the civilian refugees are fleeing to other countries (specifically, the Land of Fire) to resettle instead of staying, which is severely hampering Kumo's economy. While the other villages are doing their best to help, WordOfGod notes that, as things currently are, Kumo is now only included with the Five Great Nations due to a combination of tradition and their contributions to the war.
