I have come to realize in recent times that I ended up misusing Eviler Than Thou, and so I have changed it back to something more appropriate.

* EvilerThanThou: Of the Novum black-ops unit, he seems to be this. Zander's inner monologue mentions that he enjoys tracking people down, and he gets Will and Alice to stand down by threatening Raksha's life and proves quite eager to murder Alice, Will and Raksha. Furthermore, while Ed appears to have been planning to get Nikolai tased, fed to Thanatos, and thus out of the way very swiftly, Zander seems unable to resist the chance to toy with Alice and Will before killing them. [[FatalFlaw This ultimately gets him killed]] by allowing enough time to pass for [[BearsAreBadNews Baloo]] [[PapaWolf to see him threatening Will and Alice]], at which point the bear [[BigDamnHeroes bursts onto the scene]] in time to save them.

* FatalFlaw: Despite being described as the assassin of the group by [[WordOfGod Nathanoraptor himself]], he ultimately fails due to his own overconfidence when Will, Alice and Raksha are at his mercy, making malicious little quips rather than killing them when he had the chance. Naturally, this stalling gives Baloo time to notice him threatening Will, at which point he gets swiftly killed.

* TokenEvilTeammate: Downplayed in that his teammates are also evil; but over the course of the entire black-ops team's screentime in this story, he seems by far the most evil compared to Ed and Ursula.
