After all, unknown to him, he's already got three members of the park staff already aware that there is in fact a mole working behind the scenes to sabotage the park. When he realises that he's close to being rumbled, he tells von Grimm to give Frank the all clear to send in his proposed black-ops team when he discovers that Cynthia, Alice, and Will do in fact appear to be on to him.]]

* ProperlyParanoid: While a bit off target, he's not wrong to worry about [[spoiler: Drew finding out about his being the mole as well as the sinister operation going on thanks to von Grimm. After all, unknown to him, he's already got three members of the park staff already aware that there is in fact a mole working behind the scenes to sabotage the park. Furthermore, assuming Leon doesn't end up [[NotWhatItLooksLike accidentally mistaking Alice for being the mole,]] he could very well end up becoming suspicious enough of Duncan to sound the alarm to Drew. And sure enough, he later on tells von Grimm to give Frank the all clear to send in his proposed black-ops team when he discovers that Cynthia, Alice, and Will do in fact appear to be on to him.]]

* StrongAndSkilled: The largest and most powerful theropod in the story... and a GeniusBruiser CombatPragmatist who expertly dodges his opponents' attacks and replies with carefully-aimed blows.

* EvilerThanThou: Of the Novum black-ops unit, he seems to be this. Zander's inner monologue mentions that he enjoys tracking people down, and he gets Will and Alice to stand down by threatening Raksha's life and proves quite eager to murder Alice, Will and Raksha. Furthermore, while Ed appears to have been planning to get Nikolai tased, fed to Thanatos, and thus out of the way very swiftly, Zander seems unable to resist the chance to toy with Alice and Will before killing them. [[FatalFlaw This ultimately gets him killed]] by allowing enough time to pass for [[BearsAreBadNews Baloo]] [[PapaWolf to see him threatening Will and Alice]], at which point the bear [[BigDamnHeroes bursts onto the scene]] in time to save them.

* FatalFlaw: Despite being described as the assassin of the group by [[WordOfGod Nathanoraptor himself]], he ultimately fails due to his own overconfidence when Will, Alice and Raksha are at his mercy, making malicious little quips rather than killing them when he had the chance. Naturally, this stalling gives Baloo time to notice him threatening Will, at which point he gets swiftly killed.

* TyrannosaurusRex: Duh.

* TyrannosaurusRex: Duh.

* [[spoiler: EvilPoacher: Technically, he isn't a poacher in the legal sense (since the animals he and his cohorts are smuggling are not legally protected by any authority). However, he otherwise fits the stereotype in that he is capturing and killing rare and exotic animals and attacking people who get in his way]]

* GreatWhiteHunter: Gives off this vibe. Certainly helps that he has collected a large stash of trophies from prehistoric animals and wears a necklace made of dinosaur teeth.
* HateSink: Currently appears to have zero redeeming qualities to him, and is already an unpleasant jerk.

* NeverMyFault: Is quick to blame von Grimm and Duncan taking too long to [[spoiler: provide him with the more high quality portal he needs as a replacement for his [[ForWantOfANail obviously more inferior prototype level portal he currently has]] for the current long amount of time their plan is taking to unfold. He also similarly blames von Grimm and just about everyone else but himself for all his mistakes that lead to the ultimate failure of the entire operation.]]

* {{Tritagonist}}: Of Phase Two, along with Linda - she serves as Jack's love interest and gets to work alongside him in putting an end to the mass breakout at the end of Phase 2.

* AscendedExtra: In Phase Three, he goes from background character to a full-on main cast member.

* [[spoiler: EvilPoacher: Is the leader of a prehistoric animal smuggling operation, complete with both live animals and trophies from animals he's presumably killed himself.

* TheStarScream: Played with. [[spoiler: He seems very grudgingly respectful at best towards von Grimm (as indicated by him constantly referring to him as Mr. Grimm instead of by the preferred Mr. VON Grimm), and not at all happy about his idea of sending in a black-ops team getting shot down. But ultimately, after von Grimm is given news from Duncan about very likely having been found out, Frank is given the all clear to bring in the black-ops team without needing to defy orders. But then, after the black-ops team, plus Duncan, get killed in their failed attempts at getting ahold of the prime portal, he does indeed turn out to be a Starscream...via von Grimm himself being aware of the fact and having him get tased and left at the mercy of the Prehistoric Earth staff to prevent him from betraying him.]]

* FallGuy: Judging from her behavior and comments involving him in multiple 'episodes', Cynthia seems to potentially be trying to set him up as such. [[spoiler: Subverted; Cynthia turns out to actually be a spy working for [[BigGood ''Theodore'']]. Her behavior towards Jack was because she thought he was the villainous Novum board's spy she'd been sent to find and foil.]]

* FlatCharacter: Hardly received any further development during the first few chapters following her introduction. To be fair though, as Drew Luczynski has made quite clear, she would have received more development during this time if it hadn't been for [[CreativeDifferences several events beyond his control]]. [[CharacterShilling Or so he claimed anyway.]] [[spoiler: However, as of much later chapters, she managed to shake off her initial flatness]].

* LamePun: Mia's thoughts on his 'Apatoscorpio' joke.
