* DistressedDamsel: Gets kidnapped by ghosts at the start of the Vector arc, though she manages to escape with the help of Sanpu.

* SinkOrSwimMentor: The second phase of his exam was to use some low-level ghosts (harmful but not life threatening) to test out quick thinking on the practitioners' part. This winds up backfiring when a high level ghost manages to blend in with the pack.

* BadassInDistress: She is captured by Ark at one point and makes to escape [[spoiler: while trying to bring Rio with her]] before Mick re-captures her.
* RedHerring: [[spoiler: Was thought to be a disguised Sophie after the heroes manage to find her unconscious body. Turns out Sophie didn't like her face and left her be.]]

* HeroicSacrifice: Does this a good chunk of the time. In her introduction, she orders everyone to evacuate from the prison after Sophie breaks out and stays behind to seal the entrance from the inside to keep anyone from getting in or out. Later after [[spoiler: Rio reveals her betrayal and she gets separated from them]], she orders the others to go on without her while she goes to save the remaining judges that are still trapped inside the burning prison.
* MyGreatestFailure: [[spoiler: Seeing her assistant die, even sadder was that he had put in a transfer from the prison and was seven days away from it.]]
* QuitYourWhining: Tells Roji this after Muhyo had fired him following the contest with Goryo and having a HeroicBSOD afterwards, unaware of what to do next. Largely to snap him out of his funk and get him to focus on how to be a better asset to Muhyo.

* MsFanservice: Seen in casual clothing in her next appearance after Teeki's defeat.

* CuteMonsterGirl: A very cute looking demon.

* WhipItGood: She can use her riding whip as a weapon too.

* YouGotSpunk: He's impressed by Muhyo's drive and that he managed to survive one of his major attacks that could've easily killed him. It's enough to offer Muhyo his contract.

A half human half ghost that was left in the wild. While he tried to avoid killing, he decided to try to find a way to make more of his kind.

* HalfHumanHybrid: A half human, half ghost.

* BalefulPolymorph: Gets this inflicted on him by Tomas, nearly turning him into a half-gast. Luckily Kiriko manages to purge the worms that were changing him out of Goryo.

* EverythingsBetterWithSpinning: His main attack is the Dragon's Wheel which allows him to spin into enemies.

* NiceHat: A witch's hat oddly enough.

* NiceHat: Wears one in her normal outfit.

* NiceHat: Maril wears a top hat.

* PyrrhicVillainy: [[spoiler: He manages to beat Muhyo in their competition and gain his office, but only on a technicality (which ''Muhyo'' himself points out, he practically forfeited). Muhyo was still the one who beat the major spirit threat during the event and Goryo can't enjoy the victory with the knowledge that Muhyo is still the better executor.]]

* Ambiguously Bi: Has shown attraction to multiple female characters (i.e Nana, Rio) as well as male characters (i.e Enchu, Muhyo), And his bond with Muhyo, in particular, is very close...too close...almost romantic
