Later appearances show that Claudia was not just like this about her wedding- she's like that all the time.

* CharacterShilling: For Gary Blauman. Even thought he is presented as another jerk co-worker in Marshall's division, the episode "Gary Blauman" in the final season shows many other good and sympathetic things he did for others: He stoped Lily from a Break-Up EmbarrassingTattoo, recognized Zabka as a poet writer and called out James' attitude of NeverMyFault in his marriage.

* DivergentCharacterEvolution: They start out as interchangable office bullies before gaining their own separate traits. Bilson becomes a loudmouthed MeanBoss while Blauman is revealed to be more of a JerkWithAHeartOfGold in his own episode.

* {{Hypocrite}}: When Ted presented his design for the new GNB building which is naturalistic, Bilson hates it and wants the design to be more corporate where the employees will never be reminded of the outside world. Robin's former co-host in Come On, Get Up New York! as Don's replacement, who later becomes the face of Yatch commercials and Robin's unwitting rival. She briefly dated Ted twice.

* NiceGirl: Even thought she is a Woman Child, she still is a sweetheart to everyone (even to Robin). She bakes cookies and gets everyone on set in a good mood (except for Robin).

* KickTheDog: If stealing Barney's girlfriend isn't bad enough, he accompanied Shannon to get her last pay check from the coffee shop just to mock Barney.

* BollywoodNerd: Averted. He is a very capable therapist, has attended Harvard and Princeton, has his share of pop-culture savvyness and is pretty normal and well adjusted to the gang (even to the point he is less nerdy than Ted, as Ted would bore him with a coin collector documentary).

** He is as nice, smart and grounded as Ted, both have unresolved issues with their families (Ted has truble having honest talks with his parents, while Kevin's simply ignore him and favor more his surgeon brother), but Ted has quirks that even Kevin finds ''too'' nerdy and also Kevin has more emotional stability than Ted.
** Kevin has everything Barney lacks: He is a good listener, is compliant and, most importantly, ''sane'', in comparison to all the ego and emotional bagages Barney has.

* StepfordSmiler: Cootes tries to hide is pessimism about The End of the World by buying cake for his employees.

* SuddenlySexuality: At first her hooking up with another woman appears to be an example of this. Lessened in season 9, when it's revealed that she didn't have too much interest in men or romance in general to begin with, and just happened to find Ted oddly endearing.

* UngratefulBastard: Right after Ted invites him to crash on his couch, lends him clothes (and Robin's sneakers), and postpones firing him, Druthers claims that he can still insult Ted in the office and still be friends outside of it. This is the last straw for Ted to fire him on the spot, despite the HumilliationConga ruining the timing.

* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: He honestly didn't see anything wrong with the "Penis Tower" even after the client outright told him. Then he describes his wife as a "Mannish" person who gave him what he needs, which left Ted not knowing how to react.

* PutOnABus: After Ted fired him. He makes a brief appearance in season 9, where he offers Ted to work for his architectural firm in Chicago. Ted ultimately rejecs it.

* HelloAttorney: Which he uses to his advantage in front of the female jury and a ''male'' judge.
** In a flashforward to 2020, it's shown that Brad, at his 40's, is still MrFanservice, his photo side by side against a balding Marshall. Even the newscast fawns over him.

* JerkAss: Being apathetic about his job regardless of who else that interferes with? Pulling the Naked Man on Robin after trying to make amends for his behavior? Leaving Robin for a job that Robin ''turned down'' so she could stay with him? Yeah, this guy fits here.
