The unnamed birth mother of Keene. Briefly reunites with her son when he prematurely dies in the Four Animals You Meet In Heaven arc.

* StupidCrooks: He's decent at setting up schemes, but usually gets shot in the foot by his own lack of practical knowledge on how to get away with anything. At one point he successfully executes an elaborate plot to allow him to cash out on a stolen credit card, only to [[RealityEnsues immediately get arrested]] because he doesn't actually know specific information is required to ''use'' a credit card.

* SmellySkunk: Referenced, though we've yet to see whether he actually plays it straight or not. Bringing it up ''does'' seem to [[BerserkButton irk him a bit]], though. [[note]]The AltText of the comic that introduces him also points out that skunks aren't the only animals that have a defense musk, and yet they get all the flack for it, so he kinda has a point.[[/note]]

* SecretKeeper: Of Joey's cat Cosplay until she found out the cats knew anyway, Fido and Sabrina's forbidden relationship, and Res's role in creating the ''Prideland'' series of books. Although not mean-spirited or intentional at all ([[FailedaSpotCheck because Maxwell failed to notice it]]), her and Peanut's relationship ended up being this.

* FailedaSpotCheck: Poor Maxwell didn't notice that Peanut and Grape were lovers, despite dating Grape for years 'and' when he sang [[WesternAnimation/TheLionKing1994 "Can you Feel the Love tonight"]] to them… [[EpicFail while they were playing as Simba and Nala]]

* InterspeciesRomance: What he wishes he could have with Grape. He's into cats as revealed very early on, but not so much that he can't also fall in love with Tarot. Finally averted when it's revealed they were actually in love for a long time and have continuously been doing lover related stuff since then, including dating. * NoLongerWithUs: This is how him and Grape's first conversation went, in regards to his first owner. At first it was unintentional, then he did it deliberately, and now Grape seems to assume he's toying with her... when he has [[FailedaSpotCheck a glowing halo on his head]].

* SwissArmyTears: Inverted. Apparently, his tears opened [[FromBadToWorse a portal to hell]].

* DeadParentsAreTheBest: Played with. Keene clearly loves and misses her dearly going by his reaction to meeting her again in Heaven, but he also points out she was a store ferret and couldn't do things like cook for her children due to lack of knowledge.

A former, presumedly teenaged, he's recently been transformed into a red panda. He winds up moving into the ECP's boarding house where he is introduced to the other residents.

* DetectiveAnimal: He is hired to act as liaison between the K-9 unit and forensics. He's decent, if a bit eccentric.

** In fact, her "type" when it comes to men, is generally hunky. If they look like a body-builder, they'll typically get a reaction out of her. Whether she actually likes them or not depends on personality. see SingleWomanSeeksGoodMan.

** BusCrash: [[spoiler:He's died from unknown circumstances and makes his reappearance as a denizen of Heaven who's visiting Earth. Though not without alot of backstory.]]
