* MeetCute: Danny tries for two whole episodes to tell this story. Once he does he reveals: Avi moved to America after witnessing the atrocities of war. Ending up in New York, he tried to travel via subway but couldn't make heads or tails of anything due to his limited grasp on the English language. He asked a woman for help, and she happens to be the future Debbie Avidan. The two conveniently had to take the same train and Avi awkwardly asked Debbie out for lunch, despite the fact that she already had lunch and Avi basically wrapped his arm around her to prevent her from escaping him. You know what probably happened afterwards.

* SmallAnnoyingCreature: Apparently, Mimi is incredibly annoying to deal with.

* GettingCrapPastTheRadar: Discusses parts in Banjo Kazooie where they added adult humor.

* FusionDance: A common joke the grumps have made due to their similar names is to Fuse Him with Jirard the Completionist to become ProJirard the Finishist.

* NoodleIncident: Parodied. Ross and Jared try to do a skit (with Barry filming) where Jared is upset with Ross for "the slippery butts thing" and Jared says Ross "hurt him too much". This may have been a poor choice of lingo... as a group of overzealous fans who overhward the line instantly recognized who the threee of them were as soon as they saw who said it, and due to their camping out in the corridor to wait for them to emerge so they could try and interact with them, essentially barricaded the three in Jared's room, at one point posing as [=MAGFest=] staff in can attempt to ge them to come out and meet them without regard for common decency, while meanwhile actual staff apparently caught wind of Barry's recording equipment and potentially thought the group was filming a gay porno.

* RetGone: All of his appearances were quietly scrubbed from the channel after his soon to be ex-wife accused him of having an affair with Holly Conrad.

* {{Adorkable}}: His favorite game turns out to be "Mario Kart", to the point he admitted even plays it during phone interviews. He also geeked out over the "Deadpool" movie with Kevin before they started filming.

* AdorablyPrecociousChild: He's a professional actor at 14 and is fairly mature for his age, until the fart jokes start rolling in and he veers straight on into Adorkable.

* [[BroughtToYouByTheLetterS Brought To You By The Letter "M"]]: Mojo has a stripe on his head that resembles the letter M, and is presumably how they named him Mojo. This is even reflected in Mojo's Grump head.

* FatCat: Danny and Ross call him fat.

Creator of ''Community'' and ''WesternAnimation/RickAndMorty'' among other shows. Appears on the show to play 'Main/CarnosaurCatInTheHat'' with the Grumps because they starred in his Website/YouTube Red series ''GoodGame''.

Ross' ex-wife and costume/ special effects artist and Maker Studios/Polaris Community Manager, with several apperances on several reality shows such as Heroes of Cosplay. First appeared as a brief voiceover in the Outtake reel for the Dan/Steam Train T-shirt commercial, but didn't show up on the show properly until Date Grumps 2015.

* AccidentalPun: According to Ross, she hates puns, so once when he cracked one Holly smacked his leg. When asked why, she said it was to "Pun-ish" him. This cracked up Ross' father (whom they were visiting in Australia and loves puns) and Holly was congratulated, only for her to admit later that the pun was completely accidental.

* CosplayOtakuGirl: Is this for a living, although less with anime and more with video games, movies and other nerd-related media.

* HappilyMarried: She ''was'' to Ross, but their marriage fell through.

* MomentKiller: When having a romantic moment with Ross, he ruins it by bring up Creator/DavidTennant.

* HappilyMarried: To Ross.

* OppositesAttract: It's been noted that in nearly every appearance she's made on television and on the web, she conducts herself [[TheStoic extremely seriously and professionally]]. She's married to [[{{Manchild}} Ross]] of all people.

* NeverHeardThatOneBefore: Arin tries to make a lame joke about the Upside Down from StrangerThings and Finn responds with this trope.
* PromotedFanboy: He's been watching GameGrumps since 2012, and quotes a lot of their classic bits.

* FunnyCharacterBoringActor: Inverted. Grey Worm isn't boring per se, but he is very solemn and taciturn on top of being a deadly warrior. Jacob Anderson, by contrast, giggles over memories of the "Mortal Kombat" movies and YouTube clips of babies swearing. Arin even notes that their episode for ''Shamu's Deep Sea Adventure'' has as much laughs as an average "Best Of Game Grumps" compilation.
