* ClingyJealousGirl: Before Sean tells her [[YourCheatingHeart why he broke up with her]], she was jealous of him and Taylor getting closer to each other. She gets over it by Book 2 Chapter 12 if she and Taylor are friends.

* YourCheatingHeart: Sean broke up with her because her Sorority sisters told him she was seeing another guy. Book 2 reveals her sisters made it up out of spite and she knew it.

* AuthorAvatar: The player can customize gender and appearance. While Book 1 starts with Caucasian and African faces, Book 2 adds East Asian and AmbiguouslyBrown faces and two new hairstyles for each gender.

* HelloInsertNameHere: Taylor can give it a name as a premium option. If not, Aleister ends up calling it Furball.

** In Book 2 Chapter 10, as the group is celebrating New Year's Eve, Taylor kisses his/her current date, while Varyyn kisses Diego for the first time, Grace grabs Aleister, and Zahra and Craig kiss passionately for the first time since their break up.
* BreakingTheFellowship: [[spoiler:This outcome happens if many of the premium choices are skipped. Diego is the only one who is separated from the group during the hotel invasion regardless of the outcome. Without the premium options or enough friendship built, Zahra temporarily abandons the group, while Grace and Raj are also taken as prisoners.]]

* RippleEffectProofMemory: Taylor is capable of retaining memory of time warps, like the whole conversation with Sean/Jake/Quinn/Estela/Diego before the Vaanti invaded The Celestial. In Book 2 Chapter 2, Taylor is the only one aware of the time loop and has to make use of all the information gathered before breaking the trap without telling the others. [[spoiler: If they allow Project Janus to go through, they’ll be the only one to remember the old timeline outside of Varyyn.]]

* WildCard: While Rourke's corporation has full profiles on all the subjects, Taylor's have only his birth place and a big "WHO IS S/HE?" and a Grade 10 threat level. The Watchers also don't recognize what s/he is supposed to be.
