On the one hand, there is plenty of precedent for Elia's overly precocious forwardness in both candoodling in corners and adventuring when she's supposed to be doing other things. On the other, seeing actions not unlike her own at that age, both from the outside ''and'' from an older perspective, ''is'' a truly troubling experience for poor Arianne; on a number of uncomfortable levels.

* SmugSnake: Fitting given their nickame, the three elder Obara, Nymeria and Tyene are certainely this if their attitude and plans to avenge their father and Elia's deaths are anything to go by. Obara is very arrogant and loud but her plan to avenge her father indicates that she has very poor strategic and planning skills, Nymeria is more subtle but her plan for vengeance is just for her and Tyenne to assassinate the main Lannisters as if it was evident without any real plan or thinking about the consequences of what could happen if she and Tyenne are caught,and while Tyenne's plan is smarter than her sisters' with her intending for Dorne to use its home advantage against the Lannisters it's based on the assumption that the Lannisters and the Tyrells would send armies to Dorne after Myrcella is crowned queen of the Seven Kingdms which is far from certain to happen given the differences in inheritence laws and mentality between Dorne and the other kingdoms. They also constantly act arrogant and disdainful toward Doran even if his leniency and patience is the only thing keeping them out of prison.
