Some kids might try to bury it or throw it in the river or the ocean, and those predecessors ''were'' pretty awesome for at least [[TheDeterminator trying]] to get rid of Jumanji. Spencer and his friends just did it with style.
** The Way "Welcome to the Jungle" plays is a cross between BookEnds and TriumphantReprise.

One of Bravestone's powers is 'Smoldering Intensity'. One gets the feeling that they added that power ''just because'' they've got Dwayne Johnson acting for them. Every word, every motion, every facial expression makes one think that Jack Black was actually body snatched and replaced with one of the ''Film/{{Heathers}}.'' Dwayne does his Smoldering Intensity and Jack Black just swoons.
** Kevin Hart is... well, the kid they had play the jock did a good job of emulating Kevin Hart at the start, so it's just as seamless. Kevin also does a good job of drawing attention to how he is now short and weak - he's slow even compared to Jack Black! Kudos to the director, at least.

* An In-Universe example with Spencer when he witnesses Martha explain with pure audacity why she doesn't want to participate in gym. ([[RealityEnsues It lands her in detention]], but Spencer is simply blown away by it.)
