* CampGay: The talent producer in the first episode is this, cranked [[UpToEleven far beyond 11]]. In the original Japanese, he speaks with feminine inflection – common for gay/effeminate characters – until Hideki ticks him off enough that he switches to extremely masculine rude language. Since English does not make any grammatical distinction between masculine and feminine speech, he drops his gay-lisp and starts cursing to get the effect across.

* MoralDissonance: The band doesn't particularly know/care who they're stealing money from.

* ArsonMurderAndJaywalking: Madame Gokutsubushi threatens to expose various famous people's scandalous activities such as a company president's keeping a house for his mistress, an athlete's steroid usage, and a sumo wrestler who [[spoiler:uses baby toys on his wife in bed at night.[[labelnote:*]] This is actually a big deal because one of the requirements to be a grand master sumo wrestler is that one must carry oneself with dignity both in the ring and away from it, which using sex toys (especially ultra-kinky ones) is definitely ''not'' an example of. ''Nerima Daikon Brothers'' is about three struggling would-be musicians, Ichiro, Hideki and Mako, who dream of becoming a famous R&B act and building a huge domed stadium where they play sold-out shows night in and night out that also carries their namesake. In the meantime, they run a daikon (radish) farm in Nerima Ward (famous for its daikon harvests) while trying to fend off creditors, their neighbors, trespassers, and Mako's unmitigated greed.
