Edited by Loopytires55openOld PC game? Videogame
You know that game that I think came out in the late-90s or early 2000s, where your goal was to take these little creatures to a new home? The creatures were made up, and you could design them. I used to play it at the library back in the early 2000s. I remember it was set on some kind of island, and the puzzles had you find ways to get all your creatures to their new home safely. (I lost. A lot.)
openPuppet Show(?) About A Superhero Dog, NOT Dog City or Underdog Film
Now this may or may not have actually been a dog, per se, but I have some distinct memories in my mind and that is the closest I can get to a specific description in one sentence.
Basically, when I was a kid—so we're talking about 1991 at the most but likely around 1989 or 1990—I recall watching, I BELIEVE, Showtime with my mom and she was recording the movie "Go Bots: Battle of the Rock Lords" on VHS. I still have it but I would take days to find it here. I have thousands of VHS tapes. I think it was Showtime or possibly HBO, but it was way back in the day and they had this kind of countdown or timer between shows, I recall that distinctly so if it happens that neither channel was like that then whatever channel WAS like that was where I saw this thing.
And for some reason, even though I'm pretty sure it was Showtime, part of me thinks Disney Channel maybe?
(edit: another distinct possibility is some kind of PPV)
Anyway...
I distinctly recall this commercial for it, wherein it was basically depicted the villain, a human character who wore a suit and glasses and was kind of a blond guy with a high-ish voice, declaring he would send the main character to the moon. This I remember DEFINITELY, in fact I used to think it was called something like "Captain K-9" cause I seem to remember him using that name, but he said specifically he'd send said guy to the moon.
(edit: it may have also been "Commander" instead of captain)
The show itself I only saw a bit of but I remember it was a kind of puppet show, with humans interacting with some kind of dog or something in a red suit with a cape. I seem to recall him not talking or barking so who knows about that. What I do know is that at the end the bad guy is not just defeated but is somehow like, "Oh noes my plan backfired" and I want to say he was surrounded by these tribble type things...presumably from the moon.
I never saw it really all the way through that I can recall, but I distinctly remember the trailer being shown with a lot of other kids stuff before Battle of the Rock Lords. This was around the same period as some other cartoons I know and so I would say it was no later than 1991 and probably earlier—I was born in 85, which would explain why I recall so little if it was released on TV in 89 or 90 since I would have been four or five. No older than six say because I remember stuff from later on much better.
This has just been digging in my mind for years and I'd appreciate ANY help at finding it!
openPossible 90's tv series about famous ghost tales
I'm not quite sure if it was a tv series, mini-series, or movies, but i have distinctive memories about watching it once a week in the late evening. Might not be a 90's show, could also be 80's or 00's. Not sure when i watched it, early 2000's most likely. I was a young child at the time (i watched it with my parents, even though it was WAY to terrifying for kids to watch, pretty sure it was an adult horror show), so the details are very hazy. It was a horror series of sorts, about 30-60 minutes dramatization (like mini movies) of famous ghost stories like the lady in white, etc. I remember a particular gruesome story about a young woman who worked at a theatre, she had an affair with an older man, and when she got pregnant (i think) the man beat her half to death. She staggered out on the stage in the middle of a show, all bloody and horrific, then died or disapeared. Later, people who worked at the theatre would see bloody footprints in the hallway and stuff. I swear i was traumatized for years. There was also another story about a man who went out on his boat to fish, but stumbled overboard and drowned. He then came back to haunt his wife, who was having an affair or something, so he killed the lover. I really wish i remember more details, but these particular scenes are burned into my mind.

Okay I have a very vague remembrance of an old show, possibly anime/cartoon. 90s, possibly very early 2000s. All I remember was that there was a small group of friends that fought evil/ crime/monsters. The main character that I remember was a boy with pointed blonde hair. And another with deep brown pointed hair. The opening scene/ theme song was of the characters getting changed into some other uniform that they fought in, etc. help?
openLive action nursery rhyme vhs tape Film
Once I rented a nursery rhyme vhs tape that was set in a fanastical area that you could tell was a studio. The only part I remember is John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt sung by four or five boys in green bell hats and green tights playing leap frog. They're on a clearly fake cobblestone street with street lamps, little fake houses, and a completely black back drop. After the song, the camera goes into a little tree house, and inside is a little old woman with a shawl and her hair up in a bun. She goes to a round ball of feathers in a wall crevice/nest, and tells someone to wake up. Then, the ball turns out to be a bird puppet whose head rises creepily and it stares straight into the camera with plastic eyes. I have no idea what the conversation between it and the lady is, but I remember the thing terrified me as a kid. The conversation was likely the bird complaining to the woman about waking it up. I'd complain too, seeing as it's terrifying...
Edited by THENEGUYopenShow that took place at a house party Live Action TV
I remember watching this show or movie a while ago. It took place at a house party and there were different characters whose stories be followed throughout the night. I don't remember much else about it other than there was a scene where someone takes drugs (or was drugged or was maybe just having a stroke? Idk) and they mention that could either taste or smell copper.
openCrime Show with Internet Vigilantism Live Action TV
I caught about fifteen minutes of it when it just happened to be on on the TV show in the breakroom at work on either a Canadian or American station at 7PM-8PM timeslot on Sunday. From what I saw, it seemed to be about a woman who uses the internet to get new leads on cold cases. At one point in the bit I watched, she had a video call with a fat woman who does background checks or something for her. In the episode that was on, she and her husband had just moved to a new place and she was suspicious of her new neighbour, who I think might've been named Simon. He was acting in really creepy ways and her husband was saying that she was just imagining it because she couldn't let herself feel safe in their new house. There was a bit where she figured out the dude had a wine cellar based on dust on a wine bottle and a bit where she pointed out he had said he only ate tv dinners and then he came home with a huge grocery, and he lent her a shovel for gardening and her husband goes, "yeah, there is something off about him, he's nice." Extensive googling is failing me, so is anyone familiar with this show?
Edited by Kittenn1011openSaturday Morning Show/Cartoon Live Action TV
Trying to remember the name of a show I would watch on Saturday mornings in maybe very late 80s to early 90s. It was about a woman who would drive a ice cream truck-style full of children's books. She would drive to a school where some kids would get in and talk about their favorites of the week. In the style of Reading Rainbow, each book would go into an animated cartoon. All I remember is the woman was thin, white, had frizzy hair and a horn that made crazy noises. Any one know what I am talking about or the name of that show?
openA sitcom about a single guy and all the women in his life Live Action TV
This was a sitcom of the 90s or early 2000s, the main character was a single guy with curly hair and the idea of the show is that he had a lot of women in his life, but all related to him; one was his widowed mother, another was his (btw very hot) extremist vegan sister, the other was his boss (a black woman) and another that I dont remember. The show was crappy and clichéd, last only one season for good reasons but I would like to know the name of the actress that played the sister and for that I need the name of the show lol.
Edited by LuppercusopenTv show, possibly movie - comedy Live Action TV
My husband and I were watching Shameless season 7 when I was reminded of a tv show (or possibly movie, but probably not) that I saw....I have no clue how long ago. A man had surgery done on his penis. I can't remember what it was for, but a circumcision was what jogged my memory of this. I distinctly remember this man having issues with "keeping it soft" multiple times, resulting in multiple trips back to the doctor to fix the stitches. It was definitely a comedy. I remember it being set up as a funny situation whenever he ripped his stitches and went back to the doctor yet again.
openPlease Help Me Find This Cartoon! Film
So I'm pretty sure that this cartoon is set in a Latin / Spanish place, and the main four characters are two boys and two girls. All four of them can turn into animals, and they are all colour-coded in a way. One girl wears green and can become a lizard, the other girl wears blue and can become a bird. One boy wears red and can turn into a bull (I think,) and the other boy wears yellow and can turn into a lion. The Lion Boy has a crush on the Bird Girl. They defeat enemies like a hypnotizing toy doll or a super-genius (I think those episodes happened).

openChildren's picture book about a girl who turns into a house Literature
I remember when I was a kindergartener, my teacher would read a book to the class about a girl who turned into house. I know it's a pretty vague description but that's pretty much all I remember about it. I do remember that it was a colorful picture book for children and there was a bean that somehow cured the girl but that's all I remember. I know it's a pretty vague description but does anybody know the name of this book?
openCartoon Film
Okay, so it's a kids cartoon and I used to watch it with my sister all the time. I thought it was the animation for Addams family, but I looked it up, and I don't think it is.. maybe one of you can help.. anyways, it's an animation that's in black and white, there's no color at all. And I remember two of the episodes, one of them the daughter brings in a cake to school because it's someone's birthday, and the other one the daughter and son enter their dog into a dog show.. the show is "creepy" based, and I remember the family living in a big house on a hill,,,, I think.. anyways, if anybody knows what I'm talking about, please help. Thank you! (:
openHelp watched show when I was younger Live Action TV
So there was this show I watched when I was younger and I can't remember what channel it was on at all or the name of it. I just remember that it had somewhat of a bad guy that was in a wheelchair and there were twins. Also the city the were at was in some sort of fight or ruin. I remember one episode where the main character I think had blonde hair and him and the wheelchair guy were in some sort of dream state and the guy in the wheelchair was swinging and walking in the dream. I am dying to know what the name of the show is. I would love to watch it again. When I was younger we used to have hbo kids so maybe it's around those type of channels not sure.
openhalloween special
it aired on Cartoon Network, it was called "something" kid, it involved a "kid" wearing a voodoo mask, and he had a small green monster and made it grow bigger and it ate another man, it had narration as well
openFantasy film about a teenage girl in a Wonderland-like world Film
My friend showed me this like 10 years ago. I can't remember much of the plot, but I can remember a young man with a mask shaped like Bart Simpson's head tags along.
I'm trying to remember the name of a show I used to watch when I was little. The show had 3 main characters that I remember. There were to guys and a girl. The main guy had blonde hair and always teased the main girl who would get really mad at him. The other guy was kind of the strong silent type and was a lot beefier than the main guy. I don't remember the plot exactly but I do remember it was kind of similar to Scooby-Doo because the characters hunted monsters or something. I only remember two specific scenes from the show, there was one where the characters where sitting at a table and the main guy teased the main girl in some way, and when he laughed his face looked like a monkeys. The other scene I remember showed the three characters in the mouth of a whale or some large sea creature. I can't remember if the show aired on Nick or Cartoon Network but it was probably one of the two. Sorry about the vague description but that is all I remember. Does anyone know the show i'm talking about?
