Edited by FeebleSlothopenDetective cartoon? Western Animation
Does anyone remember a cartoon where an African American kid with a pet parrot goes and solves mysteries? I can only remember one episode. It starts with the kid in his room/attic/HQ eating pizza with his parrot and then they have to find a missing cat. They go to the pet store and the pet store employee comments on the parrot having pizza sauce on its beak, and I think he tries to buy the parrot? The cat isn’t there, and eventually they end up at a shipyard or a pier. They hear a weird “meow” sound (if you can call it that) and find the cat’s owner in a ship that’s about to sink or in the water and the detective has to save him. The kid says that he thought he heard the cat and that’s why he was in the water. The cat ends up at a fish store/market and all is well. I can’t remember the name of this show or anything else about it. When I google details I can only find Ace Ventura. Gah, please help
openHistorical fantasy tv show Live Action TV
I remember on tv like 10 Years ago or longer, it was a historical kinda fantasy adventure. I remember one on the main female characters dying and coming back alive but she made a deal with someone?(demon)? to come back alive , but to do this she has to keep killing people or else her body rots and gets weak and like her soul permanently dies. But she hide this from the rest of the group of main characters. Something like that. I think the show might have been British but I’m not entirely sure. I have been searching for years and would like to watch the entire series once I find it cuz I remember liking the few episodes I saw
resolved A student becomes a princess Anime
I've seen this anime on Animax around the late 00's, where an ordinary high school student becomes a princess after wearing a crown that can't be taken off and has to carry the burden of being the princess. Joining her is her parents as servants, the crown thieves, a foreign prince trying to woo her, and a little girl claiming to be the wearer of the crown.
openUnknown VHS film
When I was in daycare as a kid we used to all gather and watch VHS tapes in the basement. There was one VHS I only remember watching once, and I was in time-out for most of it so I only saw the beginning and the end. It was live action, black and white and it starred a little girl and little boy solving mysteries along with their pet dog. The dog had a silly name, and the intro was sang by children and included clips from the show, but I remember them being slightly sped up for some reason. Another thing I remember was the dog appearing in a hole picture frame in the intro, similar to Porky Pig in looney tunes shorts. The episode, if there were episodes, we were watching in particular was them in a circus trying to solve a mystery of some kind. That’s all I remember, does anyone know what I was talking about? It’s been on my mind for more than a decade.
Edited by GlaceopenTrying to figure out some old sci fi show about a castle Western Animation
It was about these anthropomorphic characters, on a spaceship headed to some magical castle place at the apparent center of the universe. Along the way they would end up going off on adventures or something, as the villain, some weird purple magical man thing that looked a bit like a bird, attempted to hinder them for some reason. There was also a pirate villain in some episodes who was a pig or boar or something. The only character I remember anything about was a character called Roger, who was the ship's mechanic. He had yellow fur and a long-ish snout. Can't quite pinpoint what animal he was supposed to be though.
As for the animation style, I think it was 3D, but definitely not cgi, since I had it on vhs, and it was far to real looking for it's timeframe. It might've been claymation, but that'd be some damn realistic claymation.
Anybody who finds these things familiar, please tell me anything else you know.
openCartoon? Help Western Animation
I can’t seem to remember the name of a cartoon where the main character is a little boy and he’s friends with a sciencey man and an old grandpa-type guy. One of the episodes involves the grandpa getting accused of theft but the kid finds a rubber grandpa mask and the real thief is arrested. In another one, the kid goes into a computer simulation about ants and the sciencey man thinks that he got a deadly sickness from it and thinks he’s going to die. In another one, the kid goes into a video game and it’s dino themed I think and he eventually learns that if he keeps playing the video game he’ll have his life sucked away through a helmet thing. I think tha grandpa and the science man just do this to prank him though. It’s a bit blurry, but I can’t find anything about this show on the Internet

open[Solved] Black Jack Episode Anime
I was going through the Black Jack page, when I remembered the episode where a spoiled brat crashed his car and a guy who was innocent, but was made guilty. Dr. Black Jack operated on them both by himself where the guy who was innocent had his face and hair to look like the spoiled brat, who died. In the end he meets his mother and gets his face operated again and they flee Japan as the father would be looking for his son. I tried finding it on Wikipedia and the wiki but none of the episodes listed seem to fit it. Any help to which episode it could be would be much appreciated.
Edited by AnimaltameropenA netflix series
I've seen a really interesting advertisement on You Tube about a Netflix series. It was based on a wink murderer game; somebody is a murderer and kills people with winking - their job is to identify the killer before everybody is killed. I can't find it anywhere. I remember the trailer starting with a woman saying "We all know the rules" and explaining it to a group of people. The room /house was dark and it was kind of a thriller style. I REALLY NEED TO WATCH IT. Thanks for your help!
openTV Cartoon Unknown Anime
So sorry, I am new to TV Tropes and added this question to the wrong location originally. This is my original post: Since watching Marvel Avengers Infinity Wars I thought of a cartoon I watched that reminds me a bit of the infinity stones. This cartoon probably aired on tv some time in the 90's or early 2000's. Please note I ask you to expand that time period just incase to 1980-2015. This cartoon is a hero vs villain but I only remember the villain. This villain was raised to believe he would rule the world by gathering these stones throughout the world. He wore a metal suit & could appear & disappear at will. He gathers these stones but there is a hero that tries to stop him. The fear is that he will obtain all of the stones, each one giving him different powers. I wished could tell you more about the hero but I cant remember his powers. The hero did have friends that would try to help as well. Seems the first stone was located in a cave where the hero & villain meet.
Jormis 29 responded You should ask this sort of thin in You Know That Show but you might want to look at the adaptaion of The 99 or Power Stone
This is when I realized I had not posted my question to the correct location and my post was locked, again sorry! I also wanted to add a couple of notes that I did not mention above, that this was a cartoon that aired in the U.S. but neither of Jormis 29 are correct( The 99 or Power Stone). (Thank you for helping me understand where to post).
The villain wore what I believe to be a metal suit & I also believe that metal suit allowed him to transport himself to different locations. He was raised since birth to believe he would rule (it was his destiny) the Earth after gathering the stones. The villain does not think what he is doing is wrong since he believes his actions are justified due to his destiny. Each stone gives different powers and makes him very difficult to defeat. I wished I could remember more about the hero and the powers he has….
Thank you for any suggestions!
openThe Walking Dead Whistling Song
Hey guys, I know that it's a weird question, but in The Walking Dead, Season 8 Episode 3 (before the 11 minute mark), Jared (the Savior guy with long hair) Is whistling a song for a while before Morgan stops him. I know I've heard this song before, but I just can't recall the name. Could anyone help?

Anyone know which comic this is? I remember it having its own website. It's a G1 MLP comic starring a (white?) Winged Unicorn raised in disguise amongst normal ponies.
Edit:
It's Worlds Apart (MLP).
Edited by Pichu-kunopenSuddenly able to feel pain, godlike aliens Literature
There was this novel I once read, a sci-fi novel that described a Dark Ages-level civilization in paradisical terms. This was because of an energy field that these Sufficiently Advanced Aliens who were humanity’s “caretakers” and gods was turned off, by an alien who wanted us to grow in emotional depth, because the inability to feel pain or suffer any kind of injury had made people blissful but dumb. Does anyone remember the title and/or author of the book? It discussed the implications of the gods “enabling” us to feel pain/suffer injury and whether or not it was cruel, versus being necessary so we could truly experience joy by knowing was pain was in comparison.
openPlease help
This was either a film or an episode of a TV series but I distinctly remember a man walking around a hospital or something, and he kept hearing a little girl singing a creepy version of the Hush Little Baby nursery rhyme. By the end of the film/episode, the man tried to set himself on fire and I can't remember whether he was successful or not. I think he was . . . I know this isn't much to go on at all, but if anybody has any suggestions as to what it might be I would be very thankful.

I swear I remember seeing what I thought was a Duck Tales TV special when I was little, but now I can't find anything indicating this movie or special exists. I saw it on cable TV I think around 1989 or 90. It had Huey Dewey and Louie go to Scrooge's money bin to get him to donate them a trophy for some kind of game or contest. He gives them one that's really old and beat up because he's so cheap. Later I remember it turning out that the trophy he gave them was really valuable for some reason, and he tries to get it back from the kids but they won't do it because Scrooge cheaped out on them before.
