Hey does anyone remember a show that was around in 2009ish? I think it was one the fox station but im not positive. The show is about a crew that is on a space crafte that is exploring space for a new place to live because earth will soon be uninhabitable. The crew is also being filmed on the ship as a tv show shown back on earth. There is also a thing where they put on like sunglass type things where its virtual reality and they choose what they see and you can chat with other people if they also have theirs on aswell. The captain and the docter(?) lady have an affair together through the virtual reality things. The docter ladies husband or fiance or whatever is in charge of the tv show. the second in command is a bald guy in a wheelchair. There is something wrong with the ship on the outside so the captain has to go fix it but when he gets back he airlock room closes on him and he gets sucked out into space after mouthing i love you to the docter lady. Later her husband/fiance is shown going over the footage of the ship seeing that he mouthed i love you to her. When she goes back to her room there is a virtual reality thing there and when she asks the ship computer who put it there it says it doesnt know. when she puts it on shes in midwestern times and then the captain shows up on a horse asking for a nurse to take good care of his men. before he leaves she tries to talk to him and he says dont worry this is just the begginning or something to that effect then rides of with bad ass music. i think it might have been the pilot. can any one help?

I remember this show from (I think) a few years ago, and I believe it might have been on Cartoon Network. I remember it centered around a music teacher and kids that might have been his class. I remember a line from the theme song: "Washington DC, that's where life becomes a sitcom; if you ain't got no rhythm we're gonna show you how to get sommmeeee YEAH!". I also remember one episode where the kids were imagining a world without music. One kid said:"If there was no music, we wouldn't have hearts because there'd be no beat" or something like that. Thanks!

Allright. There's this show that comes on at least once a week on Japanese TV, and it's about a group of monsters. There's a kid with huge ears and stretchy limbs, a werewolf, a frankenstein-type monster, a vampire (with an Ill Girl love interest who he met at the supermarket), an elderly woman and two younger kids. There's also a powerful monster underground that a different group is trying to revive... does anyone know what the title of this is, because I don't speak Japanese and I have no idea.

I'm trying to remember a science fiction novel. It takes place on another planet. There is an organism like a fungus or plant that grows in the desert that extends life. The only way to harvest it is to spill the blood of a woman who has just given birth on to the sand. There is conflict between the desert dwellers and the evil aristocrats (old men who actually kill their wives and daughters to harvest the life extending plant). The desert dwellers protect their woman by threatening to dig the plant up and expose it to the sun thus killing it. Most the story takes place from the view point of a woman who is the daughter of an aristocrat. She doesn't know the dark secret of the nobles and the deaths of pregnant woman are explained away. I'm pretty sure she gets married and has a child. She needs up running away at some point and learns the terrible secret of the nobles. I read this book five or six years ago. Please help!

There was this horror/comedy movie, where a character shot someone's brother and him along with 3 other people have to find someplace to bury the body. They tried robbing a store and ended up with a bag of chips. Someone caught their mother cheating on his father, and shot her along with her lover, so now they have 3 bodies to worry about. They ran into a guy the could bury the bodies in exchange for their (dead bodies) thumbs. Through out the movie the guys were always arguing. Would anyone know of this movie by any chance?

I think this was a PBS series, but I'm not sure. The main characters were a boy and girl who had a sort of "time scoop" they used to bring people out of the past and talk with them. One episode had them bring Moses forward, just before the Burning Bush. They knew better, they really did, but they just couldn't help expecting the pop culture versions of the various people. So they were more than slightly disconcerted to get, when they drew Moses forward, an eighty year old Judean shepherd... who stuttered.

Does anyone know the title of a vampire movie, one where a bunch of scientist discover a vampires corpse and they revive him by dunking it in a tub of blood. They then do experiments on him, and secretly some of the scientist are trying to become vampires themselves. Then the vampire hunter who's killed him has to kill him again?

Canadian show, 1990s, set in a TV news studio, main character was kind of a poor man's Tom Cruise. It was a drama, with elements of humor, but I can't remember now what made it so good. Saw it on US TV, late night I think.

I remember an episode of a tv show (maybe late nineties?) in which a group of students were in detention, and somehow they realized that their detention room was isolated from the rest of the outside world. The classroom windows were frosted, and when they were able to open them, outside of the was just whiteness. Turns out they were actually being observed and studied by aliens.
Does anyone know what show this was?

Okay, this is twofold.
One is about a French pirate and his Hypercompetent Sidekick rat first mate (who has some lower class British accent I can't identify).
The other is about secret agent dogs and their neverending struggle against dog stuff like fleas and cats. No,it's not Cats And Dogs.
Both of them aired on FOX on Saturday mornings in the late 90s, but as far as I can tell they didn't last very long. Any ideas?

Video game.
A PC game that may or may not have had something to do with Atlantis. There was a portal that took you to different parts of the game that was round with a column of energy in the middle (I think someone starts talking to you when you go through it). One of the areas was an Aztec-looking temple with a bloody handprint near the door and another area had a desert where you had to cut the cactis open to get water.

Can anyone identify this boardgame I used to play a few years ago: A chariot race between five teams of different fantasy races, with one player controling each team. Each player had a hand of 7 cards of 5 different colours, which could be used to set their chariot's speed, cast spells on themselves or other players, or avoid taking damage from obstacles. If you took enough damage, you crashed and had to miss a turn before you could rejoin the race with your speed reset to 0. If you crashed twice, you were out of the game. Common practice seemed to be to fireball the elf, but that could have just been us.

This was a movie from the 80's, possibly the late 70's. An alien invasion kind of like Invasion of the Body Snatchers, but the main character was a boy 10-12 years old. A lot of the action took place around his school, which was in a desert-like location. You could tell someone had been infected and turned into an alien from a thorn-like protrusion on the back of the neck. The boy's teacher is an ally, but gets infected, which the boy realizes when he sees a band-aid on the back of the teacher's neck. (The image of the band-aid on the back of the neck still freaks me out.)
Anyone?

I've Googled this without any success, so maybe I just made the whole thing up somehow, but here goes:
I'm 23. I have a childhood memory of seeing a promo for something on TV (in Canada) about a doctor/scientist who would do experiments on people by making them lie down and listen to white noise through headphones. He was able to brainwash them and/or erase their memories/minds. At the time, I understood the plot to be based on true events that happened in Montreal or something, but don't weigh that idea too heavily. (Maybe it was set in Montreal, though?)
I remember this as a TV movie, but it may have just been an episode of a series. Either way, it made me nervous around white noise for years.

I'm looking for the name of a British kid's gameshow from the 90s. It was basically The Crystal Maze with a few differences:
- There were only three people in the team;
- It was set in a (possibly 200 floor) skyscraper;
- Each floor contained a different game, with the final game on the top floor;
- Instead of being locked in, you were sent to the basement;
- It was hosted by a face on a screen in the building's lift;
- It was the host's job to pick the games played, not the players.
I'm certain I'm not making this up, given how much of it I remember, so does anyone know what it was called?
Spoof teen comedy horror along the lines of "Not Another Teen Movie" and the like.
Only saw the first minute or so of the film, a guy's wearing a normal looking mask and accidentally sets himself on fire. He puts it out by putting his head into a bird table/fountain and the mask has melted to look like a scream mask. Then the titles come on screen.
The title's fairly long. Perhaps released 2004/05?
