I have a concept for a Legends of the Wulin character, who would pose as a half-witted servant in a teahouse ran by the villainous Black Lotus clan, but is secretly the Steel-Winged Crane, a masked Wulin Scholar, and sworn foe of the Black Lotus.
I want to play a Twilight Caste hull defense engineer in Gunstar Autochthonia. I don't even like Autochthonia.
Have you read COCD: Autochthonia?
Yes. It was the only time I regretted spending money on an Exalted book, and I bought the Malfeas book and Scroll of the Monk.

Huh. I thought it was awesome.
Aoife- a warrior woman, former noble or even princess, driven out of her home because her Xanatos Speed Chess court political schemes met a hitch, and her sister betrayed her to save face.
Yes, the name is significant.
I just think this would make for an interesting character in a way completely divorced from power sets. She'd be afraid of being found and killed, but also bold in that she would oppose her sister's pawns wherever she found them (for even more coolness, her sister became queen of their homeland). She would be valiant, but clever, not above kicking below the belt but also somewhat lustful for glory. She'd also be very hungry for power- if she were stronger, this wouldn't have happened, if she were stronger, she could go back and take her rightful place... She'd have to balance her ultimately heroic nature with her fears and vices. It would be interesting.
Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-A paladin of Crom. He'd honour his god by starting bar brawls, let the blood of his enemies flow, and all his mystical abilities would be geared into turning him into a walking powerhouse that just won't stand down until everyone else is lying dead at his feet.
And he'd refill his mana by shouting at the top of the lungs to the sky, while standing on top of his enemies' corpses.

Latest bad character idea: Cornelius Fillmore as played by Samuel L Jackson.
I have always wanted to play a druid as Sun Wukong, EQUAL OF HEAVEN!
Ironically enough, I AM playing a druid in one game and he didn't end up like that at all.
Hit the motherfucking deck. Remember my idea of Aleister Szandor Damien Egregius Heterodyne, ENGINEER?
There's a local system named Wolsung, which is pretty much steampunk fantasy. We started preparations for a campaign today. So I said I want to play an engineer. Ended up with Technomage, which is basically a Spark. Very adventurous and combat-oriented Technomage.

"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisSome Word of God for Chuubo's Marvelous Wish-Granting Engine has me wanting to do a character who starts out as a character's Imaginary Friend and later manages to claw her way into full existence.
- Spellscale Shugenja
- Shadar-Kai Duskblade
I've also really wanted to find a way to play Bard->Shadowdancer (Pathfinder) effectively. I also have a weakness for hybrid sword&sorcery characters. I fell in love with the Hexblade I used to play.
Chuubo's also has me wanting to do an angel-of-thunder character and a Sosunov dream-guardian who lost access to his family's magic after a dream of fire.
Framed in the Sagas game: I wanna play an Actual Passifist Jedi, like what would be considered the ideal lightside Jedi, with all force powers geared toward defense and healing. Main issue I'm seein is that I'm not sure I can pull it off...too much tendency to saber things till they stop moving. The character I'm workin on for the game we start this weekend is like the polar opposite on all but the lightside part.
EDIT: Thought of another: The Audiomancer. Weaponizing the Brown Note even further!

"Dude, I'm not taking religious advice from ANYBODY named 'Darth'!"In World of Darkness, I'd like to play Nicolas Cage from Vampire's Kiss.
Unbeknownst to him, he actually is hanging around with ghouls and vampires, but even if he realized it nobody would take him seriously

You've lost. You're the Bomb Squad after the bomb's gone off. I'm the blast ongoing.I would like to play a samurai in a context that allows to character growth. The one group I am actually playing with now only allows for a "kill people and take their stuff" Form of play. I mean, not that its not fun, its just limiting for people that like roleplaying.
Also, I would very much like to play a flame chucking superhero. Does anyone know of a system that allows that that is not overtly complicated?
I'd kind of like to play a detective who is hopeless when actually doing detective things, but when he runs out of ideas, he invokes "advanced Cjellian fact-finding techniques" and does things like asking a teammate for a random number and a tree and then visiting [number] on [tree] street, or checking someone's favourite colour and then driving after a car which is coloured the exact opposite on the colour wheel.
I have no idea how I would play this, except possibly in the Nobilis/Chuubo's ruleset, but still!
I think the character concept I want to play most right now is a biotech version of an artificer. If you play Magic, think Simic guild. If not, essentially a mage who weaves and alters living things, and then tosses them at people.
Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-Out on a lark I decided to write up a lunar exalted [[Berserk Gutts]] Expy. Complete with [[BFS solsteel great daiklave]]. Story goes he was a merc working for the guild and then got picked up by Griffith's mercenary company, Company of the Pristine Raptor. Plot goes down mostly the same as Berserk but instead of one of the God Hand, Griffith becomes a Green Sun Prince.
Naturally this ends up bad for Gutts and the Company and pretty much everyone else dies. Gutts ends up taking on first and second circle demons with a sword. Alot of it is a blur but by the end of it Griffith is gone and Gutts is a Lunar exalted.
not want as much as am, and not me, but a friend, but here goes.
Buddy over hears D&D conversations, wants to join in. help him do character a few days before we play, he rolls up a barbarian. His names Dave.
Would that be a high CHA barbarian or low charisma barbarian?
I still want to play a sassy Mermaid Oracle-Barbarian with the full 30 feet of movement speed. Not sure which would be the dominant class or if it's even allowed, but... it would be different.
And if my mermaid can't wear regular armor, and I want to have armor, I'll ask if I can have someone forge a big plate-armor sock to put over its tail.
Flyer than an ostrich, moshin' in a tar pit...I want to, at some point, play a cleric. because I've only ever played monks
Got a degree in Emotional trauma via fictional characters aka creative writing. hosting S'mores party in Hell for fellow (evil) writersApparently D&D has a prestige class that's a multiclassed mage/barbarian who can cast spells while berserking. This has to be fun.
"ARRRRRR COME AT ME COME AT ME IZZAT ALL YOU'VE GOT TASTE MY FIREBALL SUCKERRRRRR!!!!!"
"Atheism is the religion whose followers are easiest to troll"
I wanna play an old lady piloting a spider-mech variant of those tall things out of Dishonoured. Like enormous mechanical limbs and all but she's still visible and vulnerable.
"Evii is right though" -Saturn "I didn't know you were a bitch Evii." -Lior Val
