OK, since a group of us are planning to replace the Gokaiger crew with OCs, and I was the first one to finish a sheet, here goes.
- Name: Jennifer “Jenny” Rose / Gokai Yellow
- Appearance: Regular

- Universe: OC with powers from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger
- Backstory: While on the outside she seems like a fairly ordinary, if a little bubbly fourteen year old, she wasn’t always so. In fact, she was once quite the opposite.
The sad fact is that she was orphaned in a Zangyack attack on her homeworld when she was just six years old. And while she was found crying in the rubble by the Gokai Galleon’s crew, it was several months before she said a word. Instead she spent most of that time either drawn up in one corner, or fiddling with mechanical things, trying to find out how they worked and how to repair them, which didn’t really stop after she finally came back out of her shell. - Superweight: 1 out of suit, 2 in.
- Hero Type: Super Sentai.
- Character Skills:
- GOKAI CHANGE!: By inserting a Ranger Key into her Mobirates, Jenny can summon the powers of a given member of one of the 34 Legend Sentai.
- She’s also a fairly skilled mechanic, able to fix machines and occasionally people too, since there’s not really a problem that a Wrench Whack to the head can’t solve. At least in her mind, anyway.

- Name: Ryan Steele.
- Appearance: Civilian form◊, VR Trooper form◊
- Universe: Post-Virtual Reality Troopers in the year 20XX.
- Backstory: The only son of Tyler Steele, he was trained in karate at a young age. During his younger years in high school, Ryan further trained in Tao Dojo alongside his friends JB Reese and Kaitlin Star. The trio were recruited to fight off Grimlord and his quest to conquer both the real and VR worlds. Although the three have defeated him many times, they were not able to determine his "actual" base of operations and the real identity of Grimlord. After graduation from high school, the trio decided to temporarily part ways to attend university while keeping in touch in case there is a breakthrough in defeating Grimlord once and for all.
- Superweight: 1 as a civilian. 2 when he changes to his VR Trooper form.
- Hero Type: Metal Hero.
- Character Skills: Out of his costume, Ryan is a skilled martial artist trained in karate. He knows how to ride a motorcycle, partly due to use of his VR Trooper powers that allows him to gain access to (formerly) the VR Turbo Cycle and the VR Nitro Cycle aside from riding one in real-life.
- Equipment: Nothing much aside from his Virtualizer pendant, an Iphone 4S and some clothes on with a Video Transmitter or a VT. He has a motorbike helmet and a white and black Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R for personal transport. Ryan carries a wallet that mainly has American dollars.
- But in costume, he's armed with a Laser Saber and Laser Pistol. With his Laser Saber, Ryan call pull off the VR Laser Ray. Depending on the need for transport, Ryan can call on the VR Nitro Cycle.

- Comment: Nothing major, except he still has a quest to take down Grimlord. Also he'll get confused if the other Sentai/Kamen Riders/Metal Heroes would call him Shaider and wonder if they're referring to him as "Roy Scheider".

Would it be alright to have an OC who gained a Power Ranger morpher (I'm thinking blue turbo) as a sort of legacy character, the morpher being passed down to a worthy successor by each user?
Yeah. An OC with canon powers (e.g. from a Sentai/PR/Kamen Rider character) can work.

...Unless you actually mean the blue Turbo Ranger but seeing how you mentioned Power Rangers instead of Super Sentai I doubt it. Still, should be interesting, I guess.

Well it is gonna be hard on reconciling certain characters who appear starting from MMPR and those who appear before and after JAKQ.
Nah, I think it'll be fine. Really, all I can see happening from Power Rangers Turbo and CAAAAAARRRRRANGER! co-existing is that the Turbo Rangers would be told to lighten up all the time by their more parodic Japanese counterparts. ...And would be a constant source of confusion to the Japanese sentai due to the fact that they're "Turbo Rangers" despite clearly being from one of the other vehicle based teams.
And no worries if you need a day or two to get things working.

- Appearance: Untransformed: Here.◊ Transformed: ...This one's a bit more difficult, since OOO changes appearance a lot.
- Universe: OC with gear from Kamen Rider OOO
- Backstory: Rei's life was rather uneventful, until several months ago. She was a normal high school girl who had never really done anything particularly noteworthy. She was taught English from a young age, as her father originally came from Great Britain.
On the way home from school one day, she was unfortunate enough to find herself caught up in a battle between a disembodied hand and a humanoid mantis monster. The hand told her to take the OOO Driver and fight the monster if she wanted to get out of the situation alive. Despite the monster's claims that she'd regret using the belt, Rei proceeded to transform into Kamen Rider OOO for the first time. Following that event, she began assisting the hand, Ankh, who took control of the body of a police officer who was left near death during the encounter with the Mantis Yummy in tracking down and defeating more of the monsters. - Hero Type: Kamen Rider
- Character Skills: In addition to being a native Japanese speaker, Rei can speak English fluently, albeit with an accent. She recently learned how to ride a motorcycle. She's a decent martial artist, although due to her somewhat lacking physical strength, these skills are less useful out of costume. Finally, she is a master in the ancient art of only starting to study the night before an exam.

There's a bit of resistance to the use of Super Weight on the grounds of it being mostly arbitrary and a little bit senseless.

Having PR-Turbo and SS-Carranger (well, by use of the keys) together should be a pretty interesting dynamic, so I'm going to go ahead and fulfill my side of that. On the subject of Super Weight, I'm not too fond of it either but don't care much.
- Name: Aaron Maddox
- Appearance:
- Normal: Aaron is a 15 year old teen and a fairly typical height for it. He has a muscular build and very pale skin, with flesh damage on his left wrist due to an accident with his morpher. He has short and seemingly perpetually untidy black hair and blue eyes as well as typically wearing blue clothing while not morphed.
- Blue Turbo Ranger◊
- Universe: OC, powers inherited from Power Rangrs Turbo
- Backstory: Aaron was a fairly typical school child, being bought up by his older sister after his parents died in an accident when he was nine, and a considerable fan of many of the various heroes who ran around saving the world. On a few occasions he met the heroes he lauded and trained from a young age in various martial arts and fighting styles, hoping to some day become like his heroes. On one occasion a monster turned up and wrecked his neighbourhood and although a hero turned up to combat it by the time they arrived, the monster had already slaughtered several people, including Aaron's sister and the hero barely saved Aaron. Although that hero, the Blue Turbo Ranger Justin Stewart, no longer with his team at his side, managed to defeat the monster, it had already caused significant damage and left Aaron on his own. Justin took Aaron in and, after deciding that the boy's ambition was true, started training him as a successor. Aaron had several accidents in attempting to assume his inherited powers, one even causing permanent damage to his wrist due to morpher misuse but eventualy learned how to properly use the power and became the new Blue Turbo Ranger, working to keep peace and ensure justice in the world.
- Superweight: 0 in civilian form, 1 as Turbo Ranger.
- Hero Type: Power Ranger
- Character Skills: Aaron is a fairly skilled fighter, generally mixing fighting styles. He's also able to drive due to use of Storm Blaster. He can also speak the Welsh language, although he finds no use for this, and has a reasonable knowledge of past henshin heroes.
- Equipment:
- Storm Blaster, a large jeep previously used by the rangers that he uses for transportation.
- Turbo Morpher and key, which appear when needed and allow him to morph into his Ranger form.
- Auto Blaster and Turbo Navigator, a fire arm and a scanning computer which can combine into a more powerful side arm.
- Turbo Hand Blasters, powerful energy blasters.
- Turbine Laser a powerful canon often mounted on Storm Blaster.
- Turbo Blade, a sword.
- Storm Blaster
- Comment: Various things: Alike Justin, his body changes noticeably when he morphs. He lived in Wales for the first part of his life and moved to America when his parents died. His power is separate from the Carranger equivalent, hence why the Blue Racer key exists, but is pretty much identical and he is already aware of the existence of the mysteriously similar teams.

I'm personally indifferent towards Super Weight.
- Name: His name was lost in time, and thus he is referred to as "D".
- Appearance: "Spirit Ranger, Fire!"◊ "The Ferocious Brave! Deathryuger!"◊
- Universe: Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger
- Backstory:
- D existed in 1000 AD. He lived in an Mesoamerican civilization that, like many other civilizations at the time, were big on human sacrifices. For a time, he was neutral towards the sacrifices if it meant that they'd appese their gods and live for one more day. However, that tune changed when his little sister was selected for the next sacrifice. Conflicted on whether to allow his sister to die or run away and be branded an exile for the rest of his life, he cried. However, he noticed his sadness was sapped away from him by a strange sensation. He followed it until he spotted a strange knight-like monster with a sad face. The knight spotted him and sent strange minions at him. He ran off, taking his sister and ran away from the tribe, deciding to leave the place forever.
- He and his sister lived off the jungle for a while, until D encountered a giant dinosaur. He fought the dinosaur for several days to protect himself and his sister, until eventually, he beat it. As he did that, a strange bird man came to him and congratulated him on his bravery. The bird man, who later identified himself as Torin, told D that the dinosaur chose to challenge him and that by defeating the dinosaur, Topaspino, he had made partners with him. He was given a Beast Battery. D asked Torin about the knight and Torin explained about who the knight was. The knight was a member of the Deboss Army known as Aigaron and that he was absorbing the sadness of the tribe whenever their loved ones were being sacrificed. He set off to stop Aigaron and save his tribe.
- At the tribe, he was confronted by several of his tribesmen and telling him he doesn't belong here. After D explains to them about Aigaron, the Knight of Sorrow appeared and confirms everything D said. However, he soon tells them that should they stop the sacrifices, he would send monsters to eradicate the tribe, thereby ensuring the idea that they'd be spared if they sacrifice. D, not standing for it, transformed into Deathryuger (He and Torin had a naming dispute... He wanted D to be called Kyoryu Navy, but D thought Deathryuger was more cooler sounding) and fought Aigaron, several Zorima, and finally a Debo Monster who was absorbing the sorrow from the tribe. He drove off Aigaron and sealed him off, though the wounds he obtained from battle were too much for him. He died, knowing that he freed his tribe from torment and sorrow.
- To his surprise, he still existed as a spirit. Torin later explained that Kyoryugers are so brave, they can cheat death itself and exist as spirits to aid future Kyoryugers in their battle. It took a while for D to accept, especially since he managed to outlive his sister and eventually his tribe. Because of this, D didn't help in fighting the Deboss Army when they resurfaced time and time again, not even when Torin asked for his help. To the other Kyoryugers, it was as if D never existed, and thus, his name was wiped from time and even Torin had trouble remembering his name. Eventually, his Zyudenryu, Tobaspino, grew impatient with him. On one night, Torin confronted D about the threatening note, then proceeds to tell him that Topaspino wishes for D to fight. D asks what he'd gain out of it, and Torin tells him that he'd be willing to cut the tie with Topaspino and allow him to go to the afterlife where his tribe will be. However, Torin warns that if he was to die in battle, his spirit would be lost forever, as the many years of him not fighting and being brave are catching up to him.
- Superweight: I'm thinking around 2.
- Hero Type: Super Sentai
- Character Skills: Out of Costume, He has experience in playing a flute based off his weapon: the Flute Buster. He can also sing pretty well.
- Equipment: In Costume, Deathryuger has the Flute Buster, a magical flute weapon that could double as a boomerrang and a sword. Because he was born (and died) before the advent of the Gaburivolvers, he isn't able to use the other Beast Batteries.
- Comment: Dunno. Might have fudged up the Kyoryuger Mythos a bit with Aigaron being in 1000 AD and Deathryuger not partaking in the battle... though considering this is exploring what if Deathryuger was a Spirit Ranger...

His knowledge is mostly just fan stuff, with the addition of what Justin would have known, so recognizing a large amount of heroes by codename, having a reasonable idea of some of their abilites and enemies and, if it is public, knowing their identity. He would also know a good deal more about the other PR-Turbo rangers and the teams they shared members with, having probably met them a few times.
Would he know of the other heroes (e.g. the first Kamen Rider/Metal Hero/Sentai Hero) as well?
At least the Kamen Riders in their universe are known publicly by the time Fourze shows up, but most people take them to be legends. Others probably believe them to be real.

He would know of those who are known, even just as legends, to the general public and may be aware of those who aren't entirely public but could be found by a particularly inquisitive citizen, but his insider knowledge is limited to the Rangers.
Okay thanks. I guess the same thing can be said for the Sentais, especially if he meets his Carranger counterpart.

First of all, you're not mistaking this. I decided to reboot the dang thing after something happened which made me decide to do this again and hopefully, not make the same mistake again.
STORY:
The year is 20XX. Many years after the defeat of various villains to take over and subjugate the Earth under their rule or inflict a reign of terror, peace was brought back and their deeds were long forgotten and instead, became an accepted part of human history.
It was not long before a string of attacks worldwide were brought to the attention of various superhero individuals and teams with a threatening note brought to their attention.
The various heroes would need to put any of their differences aside to work out who was the culprit responsible for sending out the threatening note and more importantly, who is the new threat that wants to bring chaos to the world?
In fact, what does the mysterious villain want from our heroes? Only time will tell.
And that's the story so far for SHTBW. The usual RP rules apply such as no godmodding, don't control other people's characters unless GM/RPer involved gives the ok and autohitting. I'm allowing canon and OC characters, as long as they have a link with established powers with a Super Sentai/Power Ranger, Metal Hero, etc. (e.g. an OC with Kamen Rider Ryuki's powers).
Feel free to recycle your characters if you wish.
