My favorite Star Wars film. And quite possibly my favorite film as of now.
But I'm a Cheerleader. Was an excellent movie.
The Clint Eastwood Cold War spy/action film, "Firefox". Good action and acting throughout. And the titular plane Eastwood's character is trying to steal is still one of the coolest planes in cinema history.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens, finally ending my marathon.
Just watched the new Ghostbusters. It came across as a bit stale in the shadow of the original, but it improved towards the end, and McKinnon's character was reasonably entertaining. There was certainly a lot of wasted potential, but I don't think it was as bad as many of its detractors claim.

Join my forum game!Vertigo I liked it. I'll probably make an avatar out of James Stewart flying face from the weird hallucination.
Everyone call me elf monsterAmélie
HiRED, starring Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, John Malkovich, Morgan Freeman, Brian Cox and Mary-Louise Parker. Great fun.
Woensdag (2005): A slasher film from the Netherlands, it was a tad on the dull side and fairly generic; that the characters all spoke Dutch was about the only thing that set it apart from all of the other no-budget Friday the 13th derivatives out there, though I suppose it is commendable that it got made with nothing but grit, a love of the genre and tiny budget of 5000 Euros.
Rogue One. It was pretty damn good.
"Thanks for the lesson. But I don't need you to tell me who I am."Last ten minutes or so of Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey.
I just finished watching The Road to El Dorado. It's still as good as I remember.
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue. The last few minutes of Terminator: Salvation.
And Genesys is shit how?
Batman V Superman Dawn Of Justice. While definitely having flaws, note I actually quite enjoyed the movie and generally feel critics were a bit harsh on the film. Especially if the cut on HBO Now is the theatrical cut.

Just saw The Giver on Netflix. Not as bad as the trailers had me expecting it'd be. Hell, the trailers pretty much made me swear off the movie when it was in theaters a few years ago, but now that I've seen it, I can say that it's a rather faithful adaptation of the book, and while there were quite a few changes, I didn't mind them. The page here I linked to says the film's reception was mixed at best but I honestly liked it.
This morning I woke up, and switched on the TV; Jupiter Ascending was on, but I watched it only very briefly.
And actually just finished watching Moana.

The Superstar of the Supernatural World! (debatable)The Football Factory.
Was it worth it? Course it fucking was.
simple asThe ending was rather bittersweet, as the team that steals the Death Star plans—the main characters of this film—pays for it with their lives. Not to mention by the time The Force Awakens rolls around, the very person who was entrusted to deliver those plans to the Rebel Alliance during A New Hope—Princess Leia—has shown signs of being weary with the struggle against the Empire/First Order.
Although I missed a portion of the movie thanks to needing a piss break... (It was cold inside that theater!) Might need to do a rewatch later on...
"Learn as if you will live forever, live as if you will die tomorrow."Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
I felt that the film was great. Apparently many thought of it to be boring, I didn't feel that. K-2SO was my favorite character introduced in the film with Cassian in second. The fact that I liked a robot more than human characters either says how much I disliked the characterization of everyone or just how much I loved K-2SO. The ending was quite unexpected to say the least, for myself. I assumed two people would have died or that merely Jyn and Cassian would have lived. Never had I expected every newly introduced character would die. Visually, this film was incredible, in my opinion.
Anyhow, many are trying to compare it to The Force Awakens and which they preferred. I must say, I quite preferred The Force Awakens over Rogue One. That isn't to say that I disliked it; quite the opposite really; merely that the characters displayed in Rogue One felt like less interesting and were harder to care for.
Mechanic: Resurrection (Jason Statham beats people up #32)
It was ok.
Nine Lives (2016)
It was bad; that is all.
Rogue One. Lord Vader does, in fact, have to Force-choke a bitch.

Superman, with Gene Hackman, Ned Beatty, Margot Kidder, and the late, incomparable and sadly missed Christopher Reeve in the title role - and unlike the current incumbent he's American to boot.
Which is nice. [LOL]
