If you have a problem with Hokuto then tell it to me!Daddy's Home. It was funnier than I expected. :)
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.I just finished watching Savage Sam. It was pretty good, but yeah, Old Yeller is the better of the two.
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Dead in 3 Days (2006): A middling Austrian equivalent of I Know What You Did Last Summer (which was itself middling). Like that, it had an audaciously titled (Dead in 3 Days 2) which I probably won't get to any time soon because I don't think it has any English dubs or subs.
The Man Who Fell to Earth. Still a great movie, in spite of some narm-y moments. David Bowie could act as well. He'll find a way back to his planet...

Deep Web, a docummentary narrated by Keanu Reeves about the Silk Road. The title is misleading, but it was enjoyable.
I also saw Superman/Batman Apocalypse. Meh, is okay, but the narrative is kinda all over the place.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.I watched The Force Awakens for the second time on Sunday because my mom hadn't seen it. Tonight I rewatched Psycho and I still get chills at certain lines and scenes. Brr.
Life is hard, that's why no one survives.I watched the Fullmetal Alchemist movie. It's still as good as I remember. :)
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Captain America: The Winter Soldier
I figured that I should try to catch up on my Marvel, even though I prefer DC. I'm down to Agents of Shield, Agent Carter, and the latest two movies. I much prefer the Netflix subseries to anything that I've seen in the wider universe.
This is a signature.I finally got over my Hype Aversion and watched The Force Awakens. I'm now watching A New Hope.

Stand up against pinkwashing, don't fall for propogandaStar Wars Episode VII.
It was alright, although in hindsight I find it a bit less impressive than I was hoping.
Star Wars Episode VII
An unaltered version of Star Wars on Laser Disc
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!I also saw the original trilogy, thanks to the fans.
I'm just glad that stupid dinosaur thing was out of the scene. I seriously despise that change above all others, which i'm indiferent.

I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Remember the scene "these aren't the droids you're looking for?" and George had the need to put a dinosaur thing in front of the scene for 10 seconds?

To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back. The Hateful Eight. Very good movie.
Worldbuilding is fun, writing is a choreYeah, I definitely remember that. The only Mos Eisley change I liked was the expanded shot of them going in. The one where we see the Outrider from Shadows of the Empire (love that book) taking off.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Flash Gordon, the 1980 camp epic. An utterly glorious slice of cheese and ripe ham, and all the better for it.
Part of Hollow Man. I wonder why I wasn't scared of the Painful Transformation when I saw a glimpse of it as a kid.note
"I just want what everyone else has, that's all."The Wild One. I can explain it as Boys Are Stupid: The Movie but hey, it was pretty good for something made in 1953. Though to be fair who can go wrong with Marlon Brando? (My avatar is a screenshot from the movie, btw)
Life is hard, that's why no one survives.Pitch Black. It was one of the four "warm weather" movies my friend Max recommended to me. I liked it. :)
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue. The Castle Of Cagliostro. Still my favorite movie in the series. Especially interesting as a character study if you go by the Word of God that Lupin and the gang are older than they're usually depicted. Explains a lot of things, like Lupin being less of a Lovable Sex Maniac (although still very much a flirt) trading in his flashy Benz for the little Fiat, Fujiko relying not on her looks but more on disguise and heavy weaponry (not that she's bad looking in this movie, though). It's very easy to see Miyazaki's touch on the movie, but there are still plenty of little moments that bring to mind the original manga, like the tower-jumping bit, or some of the facial expressions in the clock tower sequence.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I really love this film, you guys.
Weird in a Can (updated M-F)I haven't heard of that part of the movie. :S

Fargo. Might be on a bit of a crime thriller binge...
