"I'll show you all of Paris, I'll take you on a tour, we'll go up and up and up so high they'll long for an encore!"An Evil Bar ... from the '20's.
A secretly evil fairy tries to get a normal girl to join their mind-controlled ranks. At the start, the normal background of the forest the girl was exploring fades into plain black. During it the fairy performs an impressive dance routine (it's not as narmalicious as it sounds). At the end, the camera settles on a side view of the fairy and the girl facing each other, the background fades back to normal, cliffhangerly cut to ad break.

"I'll show you all of Paris, I'll take you on a tour, we'll go up and up and up so high they'll long for an encore!"In his somber richly decorated private chambers a nobleman listens to a song sung by a beautiful woman, laying on velvet pillows and surrounded by the members of his court, staring into space with a look of boredom on his gray bloated face. He then sends everyone off before standing up and walking out onto the balcony of his monumental palace overlooking a buzzing XVII century town located on a small island. The look on the man's face only darkens as he stares with his small pig eyes upon his domain and his subjects, each busy with their life. The nobleman heads back inside and goes to his cloakroom where he removes one of the wooden carvings on the wall to reveal a button and presses it. One of the room's walls slides away, giving access to a small white room with a computer console and several monitors. The man presses several buttons, activating the manual override of the "mind ehnancement" implants all of the town's inhabitants but him are wearing, setting them into "torture" mode. As every single person on the island is rolling and screaming in agony, the ruler looks at the many screens with unblinking eyes full of abject hatred, even smiling maniacally for a few seconds, but it isn't long before the look of sick pleasure gives way to one of disappointment and frustration. A minute passes in what would be silence if it wasn't for constant screams of agony coming from the streets and speakers. Finally, with a shaking hand the tyrant pulls out his diamond-encrusted dagger and slashes his own throat, falling over in a convulsing pile. The blinking blood-splattered screen reads: "SYSTEM OVERBURDENED, PROCESS COUNT LIMIT EXCEEDED".
Wow, I really got carried away there. Also I might have an idea for a novel. Thanks.

This thread moves slower than others, you don't need to keep bumping it.

The scene is being set for a horseback-esque battle in fantastic cyberspace. When it eventually plays out, lives are lost, and the nation/network (nationwork?) that the hero's supposedly on is driven to the brink of exhaustion. The hero says "I have a plan," and the episode ends on a cliffhanger.

The possum is a potential perpetrator; he did place possum poo in the plum pot.The movie starts and a guy (the main character) is running to the train station after work, but then he bumps into an attractive lady in front of a coffee shop then (montage starts) they start talking, go on a date at aforementioned coffee shop, then more dates, lots of dancing scenes, kissing scenes and Sexy Discretion Shots. But then she starts coming home late and he finds out she's been cheating on him, then they break up, leaving him sad on a park bench. In the next scene the female lead (his lifelong friend who becomes his girlfriend later in the work) walks up and sits down. This montage was meant to be an explanation for why he doesn't trust women in romance, setting up the plot.
Wow, I think you gave me a writing idea. Only works as a movie though.

After said ad break, it is the middle of the night and they wake up in a panic, as the town they were staying in is being attacked by the bad guys!
