It's late at night, in a futuristic neon-lit city with the atmosphere of 80's America. The stylishly dressed hero makes his way down the street, his cybernetic enhancements helping him to dance along smoothly to the music.

Victory and Great Defeat
A sentient robot floats in space after being sucked out of a ship, alive and unaffected by the lack of oxygen, but unable to move himself and slowly running out of power. As the music picks up, he gradually loses vision and his systems shut down, damaged beyond repair and with no way of recharging himself out in the vacuum. Cut to his human companions back on the ship, who have turned around and finally found him. They are able to recover what's left of him, but it is too late, they cannot save him. Credits roll.

my current job
The group of protagonists have been caught in a high-speed chase/battle hybrid, and they keep alternating between chasing and fighting.
The possum is a potential perpetrator; he did place possum poo in the plum pot.
Transcender of Gender
The scene starts with a close-up of a raindrop as it falls to Earth, which quickly turns into a harsh downfall. The hero is stuck at a bus stop, his mood matching the rain as he thinks about an argument he had with his friend earlier on. Eventually he sets out, not caring that he's getting soaked, only to run into said friend carrying two umbrellas. It's clear from the way he fusses over the hero that their argument is trivial, and that they're still friends.

The hero is fighting his Enemy Without in an aerial battle that takes them throughout the city.
The hero has fallen in battle. All seems lost, as a montage of memories pass by, and allies are being overwhelmed around him... and then there's another godDAMN CLIFFHANGER!
my current job
The protagonist has apparently died, and his friends/family all plan a funeral for him. It turns out he's not dead, but transported to Cyberspace, and he's gotten himself into danger there again.

The Corruption is plaguing what is soon to become a Doomed Hometown. The Good King's alchemist knows of a cure, but the one ingredient he's missing is found only in the Cave of Absolute Darkness which absorbs all light. Said king and his royal knights rise up to show that they will not let their people die!

The renegade group of heroes are trying to convince the king not to attack the neighbouring nation, as it's exactly what the villain wants to happen. It's difficult, but if they fail then it means certain doom for everyone involved.

At the heart of the world...
A group of samurai are making their way through the forest, fighting any other that stands in their way. Towards the end of their battle, there are some ninja and warrior monks that come in to strike the leading group, but eventually, the samurai prevail and take the castle. A zoom out reveals this to be a tabletop game played by two teenagers, and after the game is finished, they shake hands and then leave.

our hero fought bravely and with great fervor, at the cost of his own life. now, in the time of peace, a somber ceremony is held to honor his sacrifice.

A showdown between two battleships has begun. The Big Good has brought his strongest vessel into battle against the Big Bad's superweapon-bearing ship. The two ships are locked in a hail of gunfire while the heroes sneak on bard the Big Bad's ship. Little do they realize that the Big Bad's crew is prepared for an infiltration. The heroes punch a hole in the ship's upper hull and move in, unaware of the ambush waiting for them on the lower decks.

The Big Bad flashes back to the time he escaped his Doomed Hometown. It's at this point in the story The Hero and the audience learn (in true Tear Jerker fashion) that he's actually a Well-Intentioned Extremist. A clash of ideals ensues.

dork on dork violence
After a shocking revelation, the Big Bad mobilizes his army into The Kingdom's front doors. The Hero, still upset after the reveal, goes off to face the army by himself. Just before he was overwhelmed by the sheer number of Mooks, the rest of his Five-Man Band saves him in the nick of time. The Lancer tells him that he isn't alone and they will always be there for him, no matter what happens. With his friends and a good sized number of Red Shirts, they manage to break the Big Bad's assault.

A secret agent has been blackmailed into doing a heist for a crime boss. The agent's boss knows about the blackmail and has planned around the heist. Other agents are posing as bank officials at the place where heist is going down and have taken up positions where the criminals are planning to escape to. The agent has been given orders to make sure everything goes as planned. The plan itself is described during the shots of the heist.

At the ancient ruins set deep within the forest, the heroes have failed to stop the ritual to summon a creature of mass destruction. All they can do is run, the forest animals sensing danger and running away with them, as the clear sky is overtaken by a storm. They watch from safety as the gigantic golem awakens, and sets on a path towards civilisation.

Meditation in a magic maze of mirrors. There are waterfalls around which enhance the reflections' power which allow visitors to look inside themselves in absolute peace as the wind chills and calms their souls. After spending half a day, their minds become clear as worries dissapear.

The hero wakes up after being drugged by his old rival and finds himself in a tree in a dense jungle. He sees his rival in another tree in the distance, deviously smiling and beckoning to him. The hero gives chase, and he runs through the trees after his rival, remembering old times when they were once friends.
