The protagonist steals a small aircraft and pilots it through the jungle in the middle of a heavy storm. Tension ensues, especially since the antagonists who he stole the aircraft from are still hot on his tail.

As people panic, the scene itself becomes dreadfully silent as this music is the only audio present in the footage. It's as if they all died before their lives have even left their bodies.

The hero finds themself stranded in a desert. Everywhere they look, there's nothing but sand dunes, and the sky is bright and clear. They begin trekking through the desert to try and find civilization, or at least a source of food or water, but the desert seems to go on forever.

Cartoon characters get trapped in an arcade game, and they hear boss music. The one video game-savvy one among them recognizes the music as belonging to That One Boss, laments their bad luck, but then leads the team in defeating it.

Delving deep underwater, a spy locates a secret laboratory that he has been asked to investigate. In this hidden place, there are many tubes containing a strange fluid, and in which mysterious organisms are floating, asleep. He eventually comes across a battered log written by one of the scientists working there, which reveals the extent of the experimentation that had been going on, and that a disaster occurred which forced the experiments to stop, and this place to be abandoned.

Of course, this whole place being illegal, no-one bats an eye at such activities, so everything is proceeding as "normal", with people winning big or losing everything.

As the party are traveling through the underground subway, they are suddenly joined by allies they had thought long gone. As it turns out, there is a hidden base nearby from which they've been operating. In need of a rest, they decide to stop by and visit. The interior is surprisingly well furnished and bustling with people who recognize and congratulate the party for their efforts in saving the world. After taking a day to rest up and gather information from the people in the base, they say their goodbyes and go back on their way.

A medieval dragon sits on top of a tall mountain, surveying the landscape below. The wind is blowing strongly, yet he remains motionless. He watches the humans down below, and wishes he could come down and greet them, yet he's afraid of how they'll react upon seeing him. He is a very powerful, intimidating dragon, but he's actually very kindhearted.

A Noble Demon proposes a duel with the Big Good, hoping to end their conflict without unnecessary bloodshed. Seeing the value in the proposal, he accepts the terms and they begin to fight. Despite knowing that the demon is likely stronger than him, the leader accepts the battle because it is the best chance he has for protecting the rest of his kingdom. The battle is ordered and honorable, with each side seeming to gain the upper hand but not being able to fully defeat the other.

The A-theme to this sounds far too familiar. Does it appear in other tracks from the Touhou series?

In an old, dusty mansion in the dead of night, all seems to be quiet - that is, to ordinary human eyes. In actuality, the place is alive with all manner ghostly beings, who are simply relaxing and soaking up the nighttime atmosphere. Various small creatures making their home here, like mice and spiders, also seem to be cognizant of the atmosphere, and are enjoying themselves too.

Pokémon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire - Battle! (Lorekeeper Zinnia)

A group of heroes face down their doppelgangers, each corresponding to and having the powers of one member of the group. Instead of being a straight Mirror Match, the copies come up with novel uses for their borrowed powers and switch opponents frequently, balancing out their inexperience with the assorted skills and powers with advanced tactics. After a long and difficult (and aggravating) battle, the adventurers ultimately win by coming up with a battle plan based on what they know of their own abilities. The leader of the doppelgangers, taking the form of the least experienced group member, reveals that they are guardian spirits for powerful and dangerous artifacts. Their job was to test the competence of any who sought such power. The adventurers' first trial has ended and several more await them in their travels.

What was once a beautiful Sugar Bowl land has been attacked and nearly destroyed by the villains. What little is left of the land is falling apart, piece by piece. The hero walks around, heartbroken by the destruction. Once or twice, he stops to try and fix an object, but it falls apart in his hands, crushing his spirit even more.
