For the uninitiated... A contingent of tropers (mostly from across America) holds regular get-togethers over the Interwebs on this site called Synchtube which lets individuals, such as ourselves, open and join in text-based chatrooms within typical web browsers (Firefox, Chrome, et. al.) that allow the chat participants to view YouTube videos in synchronization with everyone else present (without even needing to set up an account)... and we've decided to use said chatrooms to play cheeseball webvideos and feature-length movies found in the public domain which stretch all the way from letters B to Z, which everyone subsequently riffs on a la MST3K.
For over EIGHT years, everybody who gets involved mostly finds good enjoymentnote in calling out tropes that are recognized in the videos and stories and coming up with jokes to fling back at whatever's happening on the screen, many of which turn into various in-jokes and running gags (a Coven Glossary is kept and maintained for everyone's help and convenience HERE) to repeat in the chat.
We're always looking for new ways to better coordinate and expand our activities and are more than happy to welcome newcomers interested in joining our gatherings.

I kinda wish the full clip of those giraffes fighting worked for everyone, instead of the shorter one I had to settle with.
Silly BBC, not showing foreigners the good stuff.
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerIt's possible BBC's deal only permits them to distribute the footage to a European audience, and the original documentary team made a separate deal with an American media company to show their footage here; meaning if BBC didn't put a region block on it, there could be to a much unwanted legal conflict.
Although, why a "UK promotional trailer" for tonight's movie can't be seen in the UK... that's a tad tougher to figure out.
And on that note, Oh, Ho-Oh-HOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooo...
Jackie Chan returns to Kung Fu Friday tonight in Wheels on Meals.
And we'll try sharing a different trailer, in hopes that it can be seen by everybody...
im literally gonna be washing dishes tonight instead of watching kung fu phriday. oh the humanity
i dont know where to start secret movie club for cool pplIt seems that that trailer's blocked here as well.
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerI really hope that at least one of the many full videos of the movie available on YT will work out.
Sean PM'd me a couple that seem to work for me, so they should probably work for you too?
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerThey worked for me as well, but we'll have to see when the time comes.
If the full movie can play on YouTube for you guys... We should be able to manage.
Worst case scenario, knowing what we know, there's a very bizarre, highly unlikely issue that prevents only embedded copies of the video from being enjoyed in Europe, which would only mean you'd have to more crudely synch up the video at the original YouTube link, in a separate window.
Oh, Ho-Oh-HOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooo...
Let's roundhouse kick and karate chop this Kung Fu Friday into motion!
First up, we're dishing out your weekly appetizer of dubbing atrocities and Godfrey Ho insanity.
Then, at the top of the coming hour, Jackie Chan is serving up this week's main course in Wheels on Meals.

Hearing Jackie Chan, who now speaks English fluently, dubbed, along with some white Europeans, was really surreal. I don't know if it's the dubbing specifically, the script, or the translation, but a lot of the dialog came across as very humorously blunt.
Tomorrow night's movie looks interesting.
I'm up for joining Discord servers! PM me if you know any good ones!A video description of tonight's feature presentation referred to it as, "that anime everyone who grew up watching the SciFi channel saw at some point".
For that alone, I think that peaks some morbid curiosity. Whatever this really is—The E.Y.E.S. of Mars.
I actually want to see this one. Darn being at work when you guys kick off. If I push it I can possibly catch the last half.
Who watches the watchmen?Cobra The Animation is actually pretty good, but might still be good for the preshow. Imagine Captain Harlock meets Heavy Metal and you're halfway there.
And the Hoe Bus is rolling.
First up, we got Kidd Video and Bad Influence to get us in our groove.
Then, at the top of the coming hour, it's the anime for "everyone who grew up watching the SciFi Channel", The E.Y.E.S. of Mars.

Well that was random. Good quality animation, but random plot.
I'm up for joining Discord servers! PM me if you know any good ones!Sorry I couldn't make it... Family problems, is all I can say.
How are you people enjoying Kidd Video, incidentally?
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."I like it, but I've always liked Kidd Video. You should put on some season 2 eps, IMO.
"I'll show you all of Paris, I'll take you on a tour, we'll go up and up and up so high they'll long for an encore!"I can assure you, I have intentions to check out second season episodes, once we're finished with the best quality uploads of season one.
Anyway, in other news, a very nice person re-uploaded Attack of the Super Monsters just for us, and that's what we'll be checking out.
Ooo. Attack of the Super Monsters. This is gonna be good. For anyone who wants a little backstory about what this is I suggest watching this.
Alright, let's get this going!
First up, the customary Sunday showing of Lexx.
Then, at the top of the coming hour, "the creatures known as 'dinosaurs'" return to destroy all humanity in Attack of the Super Monsters. Who can save us now?

Unfortunately I have other things to do this evening.
Who watches the watchmen? Thanks for having me, guys. No way I could've sit through that movie without being able to riff on it at some people.
A real shame the sound reset over halfway through. I was having a blast. It was hilarious. I love the hammy dinosaurs, the bizarre mixture of cartoon people, live action everything else, and stop-motion dinosaurs. That talk. It's so surreal and funny. Based on what I saw so far, I'd give it full marks.
I'm up for joining Discord servers! PM me if you know any good ones!If we're interested in more model-centric movies there is a Thunderbirds movie. I'm not talking about that crappy live action movie from a few years ago either. Back when Thunderbirds was at the height of its popularity they made a movie with the original cast and crew called Thunderbirds are go! It's on Dailymotion here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8svPu_Huv0
We really need to watch Starcrash, again...
And another video snippet saved for posterity, from the Golden Shoes trailer: http://share.gifyoutube.com/vZJAa8.webm
