Due to a storm outside my house right now (and because of that, a blackout can happen anytime), as well as my mom bitching because it's 0.25 AM and she can't sleep because of my light being on, I've gotta stop fixing the Pokémon article abruptly.

The sixth folder of that page is almost done, though. See you guys tomorrow!

Okay, Sponge Bob Square Pants, Super Mario Bros, and Pokemon are back, but what about Sonic The Hedgehog? That one was pretty popular. (Then I'll stop bugging you guys! )

I'll be happy to restore it if you or someone else is planning to clean it. Did you finish Spongebob?

I just did Mahou Sensei Negima!. It's my first time doing this, so did I do it correctly?

So why are we doing this?

Because Accidental Nightmare Fuel/Nightmare Fuel was basically used as High Octane Nightmare Fuel-lite, so we merged them to make the new Nightmare Fuel page that's about the Audience Reaction of fear (intended or not). And now tropers will be screaming They Changed It, Now It Sucks! even though Nightmare Fuel has officially become what they were basically using it for anyways.

We're also cleaning up the stupendous amounts of Natter that these pages seemed to have attracted like moths to a flame.

A wonder if a message should be placed at the top of all the moments pages to say something like "No natter or first person anecdotes", or something like that. I know it should pretty much go without saying - but, for some reason, some people seem to think the moments pages are exempt from the rule. Not to mention that people who are new to TV Tropes may see the natter and think that it's acceptable, when it's not.

I'm working on Spongebob Squarepants, it should be done soon. Its annoying because I have to cut out these weird inserts of things about bulls and victims. Seriously, there is words inserted about this stuff in such a way that it "flows" with the examples, so it makes it even MORE annoying.

Oh, and There is a little disclaimer on each page that says something along the lines of "This page is only for general examples of Nightmare Fuel." Not that it helped much, though...

A question; the redirects I put up on the HONF pages I cleaned and moved are gone and the pages blanked, is that just SOP?

EDIT: All comic book pages are now migrated to NF.

Alright, all the HONF wicks on the So You Want To/ pages have been changed to NF and a few potholes have been removed, but I wasn't sure if some of the actual NF links on those pages should be removed or not. The pages in question are:

• Write a First-Person Shooter
• Write a Magnificent Bastard
• Write a Mon Series
• Write a Slasher Horror Story
• Write a Survival Horror Game
• Write a War Story

I edited and moved Bleach. I might want to check just how many links are broken by now though.

There are multiple Nightmare Fuel threads for the Resident Evil games. Should we clean those up too, or delete them and focus on a single article for the entire series?

Merge them into one article and delete repeats, unless doing so would make the new article to large for th database to handle.

Elfen Lied and Monster are done. But I seem to have some problem with indexing, since the index doesn't show up at the bottom, even though they're listed in Anime.

Marble Hornets is moved, but someone should probably see if I missed anything.

I'm back, you guys! Today I'll get out once more in order to visit my grandpa (who, long story short, is in a retirement home, but this is a hopefully temporary situation), but before I do so, I'm ready to finish cleaning up Pokémon.

The "no natter" message is exactly what I'm doing with the articles I've dealt with so far. Check out the opening paragraph of Kingdom Hearts and see what I mean.

The point of the "Example Lobotomy" term I've coined, though, is also about tropers seeing examples written in a not-personal way and writing natter-less examples naturally, without anyone telling to do so: in other words, I'm pulling a Batman Gambit with this.

I'm guilty of enjoying natter more than I should. 8D; I probably won't help, I might mess up. But props to everyone working hard!

I just have one question, though. D8; Will the images on the new Nightmare Fuel page be the ultra-scary HONF images? I remember the HONF page had the Terminator in flames, and I never went there again. "OTL I'm hoping that they become image-less, at least...

No. The terminator has been chosen by the admin himself and can't be changed.

Sixth folder of Pokémon done, only two left to go. Don't know if I'll finish the seventh in one go, but it's worth a try.

[EDIT: And in fact I didn't. I'll be back to work on it as soon as possible.]

Before I go on, i have two requests:

• I'm planning on taking on Kirby next through "Example Lobotomy", once Pokemon is done. Can you guys leave that to me?
• Given EarthBound has a HONF page too, I guess the former will overwrite the latter; therefore, given I'm only fixing ANF pages for now, I won't interfere with it. That said, given both of the Earth Bound pages (ANF and HONF alike) have a Giygas page image each, can we keep the original one I uploaded for EarthBound in the first place? Because the one for the HONF tab is more blurry.

[EDIT: Good ol' Fairy Red, I know. Natter is among Guilty Pleasures to me, too. I know we both think alike, and that's why I have you as the top quote of my page; however, after being suspended and finding out about The Second Google Incident, I realised that some things are for the best. Don't be too hard on yourself, and see if you can de-natter-fy pages without cutting the examples themselves. I'm personally rewriting each and every example in a non-nattery way thanks to my aforementioned "Example Lobotomy" I invented two weeks ago. See if you can do the same: you'll find out examples don't need natter to keep their soul intact.]

@Willbyr - I'd say those are fine.

If an article has both a ANF and HONF or both a NF and HONF, merge them into one article, killing duplicates.

So, let me see if I got this straight (I'm kinda new here, so bear with me). Are we completely getting rid of the examples, or are we moving the ANF entries into HONF? I really liked looking at the examples, so I'll be sad to see them go.

ANF is already gone. Not coming back.

We are cleaning HONF examples of natter, this troper, first person and generally poor editing and then moving all content to the Nightmare Fuel namespace.
