... Nice. Both Lawrence and David can serve as a given name and a surname.
Now... Lawrence David(son)/Davison, or David Lawrence?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. What kind of story does the title "Between Love and Fury" reminds you of?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.A Woman Scorned tale or a show where someone is stuck in a Love Triangle with an Ax-Crazy Yandere and a Betty-type love interest
Personally the second one, but really just a matter of what sounds better to you.
I think a love turned war story.
Life is hard, that's why no one survives.@dRoy, @Luthen - Stompers and Sparkies it is, then.
@MarqFJA, I'd say David Lawrence rolls off the tongue better.
Love story set during war.
Rejoice! All right, perfect, the name gives the impression that I want it to.
And only now I realized that the picture is actually a cat using a binocular. Heh.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel....I actually know someone named Lawrence David. He goes by David, probably because it does roll off the tongue easier.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableWhy not go by "Larry" or some other common diminutive of "Lawrence"?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Larry The Cable Guy has much to answer for in general pop culture terms.
Nous restons ici.I'm thinking of a name for a space station/colony for humans/other races. It's created by a group of Energy Being Sufficiently Advanced Aliens who rule over it, but with a very (seemingly) benevolent outlook towards the humans and other races. However, there's a Dark Secret to the place that threatens the humans there... which is why the protagonists need to invade it and expose said secret.
The place's name is going to be called "New _____" (Old _____ was destroyed by malevolent aliens) should sound rather benevolent and a good place to live in. I've tried names like Glorian, Sanctuary and Arcadia but they sound kind of obvious shout outs to the games.

...ehehMaybe just go with simple "Habitat"?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Callipolis, Cockaigne, Trapananda, Mahoroba?
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableI'm trying to think of a good name for police/military robots. They're supposed to have almost ironically 'cutesy' names, like 'Bumblebee' for an attack UAV.
I'm trying to think of what the equivalent of a Talon drone would be.
"Any campaign world where an orc samurai can leap off a landcruiser to fight a herd of Bulbasaurs will always have my vote of confidence"Quarty!
You know, they got four missiles and all.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. They don't necessarily carry missiles.
I might end up using that name anyways, as it has a nice ring to it.
"Any campaign world where an orc samurai can leap off a landcruiser to fight a herd of Bulbasaurs will always have my vote of confidence"So I have a story that's set in the Divided States of America, and one of the countries stretches from Pennsylvania to the island of Newfoundland. The current placeholder name is "Yankland," but it just sounds wrong to my ears and it doesn't have nearly as much cultural significance as, say, "Cascadia" or "Lakota". Doesn't help that a country right next door (around the Great Lakes) is called "Lakeland."
Any suggestions that are better than "Yankland"?
Award-winning screenwriter. Directed some movies. Trying to earn a Creator page. I do feedback here.I'd call it Longcoast, Coastlands or Atlantica. I think the last two roll off the tongue better than the first.
Rejoice!Yankland could be a sort of colloquial name kinda like how "America" is for us.
Let's face it, this is not the worst thing you've caught me doing.I need names for a series of Anti-Magic spells: specifically one that does Dispel Magic, one that gives temporary immunity to magic, Counterspells, one that seals off a person's use of magic, one that cuts off a person's use of external Mana, and one that brings them down to a powerless state. Any suggestions?
Hello, I am new here.
Now, what would be a good name for a story that stars Vampires with the Powers of the Apocalypse, who all want to ruin the world in their own way?
The Apocalyptic Houses: The House of War: The world should be a land of nonstop anarchy, bloodshed, and war.
The House of Conquest: Though subtle manipulation of man, vampires shall conquer the world.
The House of Famine: We will suck the world dry if we have to, anything to sate our unrelenting hunger!
The House of Pestilence: Everything is sick, perverted and polluted, my paradise. The House of Death: Everything must die.
The House of Torment: All the world will suffer under our hands, in the most horrible and twisted of ways.

What kind of theme naming are you going for? Pseudo-Latin, some sort of motif, long phrases, English words?
Lords of Apocalypse, or maybe House of Apocalypse.
Rejoice!I hope I can ask on behalf of a friend of mine…
What would be an Awesome Mc Cool Name for an elf who's also king of the dwarves and has the ability to control awesomeness?
Now known as Cibryll. Is this a Dwarf Fortress thing? Because I think that happened.
Nous restons ici.
Leaning more on electro side: Sparkies?
Marq FJA: You could go with David, he was a shepherd before he was a king.
