"In the beginning there were only two guardians. The governors of the world who controlled everything. Nevertheless, after some time, the war started, many atrocious things happened, one of the siblings was condemned to eternal exile, and the other sibling would govern minecraftia doubting on creating more guardians, but he decided to do so since there are too many dangers on Minecraftia."
The 4th season trailer

Guardianes MC, or "Los Guardianes de Minecraft" note  is a Mexican web series created by YouTuber Ana Pa.

111 years ago, Herobrine, who started a war against his brother Notch, was exiled to "The Great Fall" while his elite soldiers (Errors and Dark Angels) were turned into statues.

After his exile, the creatures Herobrine created to fight in the war note  were left without someone to control them, which would make them a hazard. Notch, decided that 8 of his grandchildren would be "Guardians"; People with superpowers analogous to these creatures they'll be able to control. Other grandson would be the next ruler for the Central Kingdom and The remaining granddaughter would control the sun, the moon, the weather and time.

Frost, who can make those statues revert back to people, is mysteriously reverted by a guardian. Herobrine orders him to revert Eris, which will start a ripple effect that will put Minecraftia in danger once again.

The show has 55 episodes since its debut on May 21, 2015. (not counting the Prologue, S3's second Halloween special, or "Qué Pasó con los guardias?"). Although the episodes' runtime varies between 10 and 20 minutes, some special episodes have a longer runtime, reaching 36 minutes.

This show provides examples of:

  • A Chat with Satan: In Episode 1x15 (Unnamed) Herobrine Talks with Ed offering him his own body separated from Endy, Edward, End and Eddie if he goes to the Seth library.
  • Adults Are Useless: Steve and Alex never ground their children for going to the fire lordship knowing that could cause the liberation of Herobrine, Their deaths or a war. They don’t care about Creemer wanting to do an ambiguous prank involving dinamite in the fire lordship. They don’t care about their daughter being friends with an ex terrorist. They only ground their daughter for one month after freeing the Dark angels. They don’t suspect anything when their children go to another kingdom without guards to protect them. They don’t suspect anything when their daughter "moves to the desert kindom" despite being 17. Et cetera, Et cetera, Et cetera.
  • Aerith and Bob: Silver, Creemer, Zombier, Skelly, Ally, Allu, Frost and the Villains names while other characters are named Susan, Lucy, Steve, Alex, Jenny and so on.
    • In-Universe, Jenny says Creemer and Zombier aren't pretty common names.

  • All Just a Dream: In episode 2x1 "A New Beginning", Creemer is executing an elaborate plan to save Jenny from Herobrine, seemingly being an In medias res.
  • All Love Is Unrequited: Erebeo has a crush on Skelly and she just views him as a friend.
    • Your mileage may vary, she says being with him makes time past fast and calls his eyes beautiful, but when asked if she likes him she just says “Nah”, instead of embarassing like other characters do.
  • All-Stereotype Cast: Allu is the Dandere, Ally and Susan are the Genki Girl, Lily is the Toxic Girlfriend, Skelly is the Tomboy, Zombier is the Comic Relief and the Bakadere, Steve Junior Is the jerkass, Silver is the Bookworm, etc.
  • Amateur Cast: Episode 2*14 Mother's day introduces the voice actors for the rest of the series, all of them are amateurs.
  • Ambiguously Brown: Zombier has cappuccino-like skin when his heritage is suppressed.
  • Anachronism Stew: Cell Phones, American style high schools and Electric Guitars while monarchy, pirate style ships, and other medieval things appear.
    • The creator doesn’t like this trope, saying it doesn’t make sense and that she will fix it in the reboot.
  • An Ice Person: Frost can control weather, freeze people to death, create ice of nowhere among other powers.
  • Anti-Magic: Wendy’s potion that suppresses magic heritage.
  • April Fools' Day: The series has two special episode for this. Episode 1*16 (Unnamed) and Episode 2*12 I don't know how to call this ep

  • Big Bad: Double Subverted, Although Herobrine is Emperor Evulz, he is one of the least important characters, while Eris plots almost every plan of the villains.
  • Big Brother Bully: Subverted. It looks like Creemer bullies Zombier but actually Zombier likes being pranked by Creemer since he never is negatively affected.
    • Creemer: I would prank my other siblings if they liked it like zombier
  • Big Eater: Zombier.
  • Big "NO!": Herobrine at the end of Halloween special
  • Bookworm: Silver
    • According to Word of God, also Ally, but she’s too embarrassed of it to admit it.

    • And Lily changed personality from a friendly girl to a jealous girlfriend because of a love potion.
  • Canon Marches On: It's said that Herobrine created the errors and later it’s said that nobody knows how they’re created.
  • Cartesian Karma: Endy and End are totally different. Skelly wants to have revenge for endy for the things End did. To be fair, they’re two souls in one body.
    • Lampshaded: I’m sorry for hurting you while I was under the influence of Herobrine, one of the most powerful beings in Minecraftia.
  • Cast Herd: The first episodes had three separate stories.
  • Cast of Personifications: All of them are Guardians, Human personifications of magical creatures and animals. Some villains are said to have the power of Fear or attraction and Frost has ice powers.
  • Chaos Is Evil: Eris liked to say the word chaos in the first season.
  • Character Derailment: Susan loves her powers and Ally Hates them until 3x4 "The forbidden kingdom" where it’s the inverse.
    • Enforced, Susan needed importance and character development to not feel like a filler character, while Ally already had planned development.
  • Chekhov's Gunman: Fanny is Ally’s bestie and a filler character. She ends up being an Error and working for the big bad so she can kill Ally and destroy the central kingdom
  • Childhood Friend Romance: Downplayed, Endy and Lily were friends since they were 13 and they started dating at 16.

    • Downplayed with the Lord, who was the major villain in the first arc and it’s mentioned again in two seasons after with no other protagonism.
  • City Guards: “The Guards”, who appear in the first season.
  • Cliffhanger: When The Dark angels are about to attack Endy the episode ends.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: Lily's jealousy is almost unhealthy
  • Closet Geek: Ally is too ashamed to admit she likes reading
  • Color-Coded Characters: Skelly wears dark gray, Silver standard gray, Creemer green, Endy, Ara and Hypnos Black, Allu dark blue, Susan light green, Steve Jr light blue, Lucy purple, Lidia and Frost white.
  • Constructed World: The World map, the anachronism, the creatures, the magic and everything.
  • Crash-Into Hello: Frost and Lucy.
  • Dandere: Allu is a shy, insecure, soft, and cowardly girl.
  • Death Is Cheap: Extremely exaggerated. Unless you’re eliminated, each time you die you resurrect in the last place you slept. You can’t die of old age.
  • Dreaming of a White Christmas: Zig-Zagged. In the central kingdom it does not snow in winter unless Frost uses his snow magic, that’s why on every christmas and new year on the series there’s snow.
  • Dude, Not Funny!: When creemer, who has explosion magic, references the infamous prayer “Allahu Akbar”... Twice.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: The other guardians.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: The series started with a type of humor that focused a lot on Lampshade Hanigng, Memes such as MLG, and breaking the fourth wall. Also, the characters were interviewed as if they were in a reality show. The series dropped out of this and started focusing more on other types of humor.
  • Expy: Epiales uses power gems to give powers to people with negative feelings. Green Shadow, a superhero with dark colors clothing and Ocelot, a superheroine with dots in her costume, One of them having a feline motif both fight those people. And Ocelot gets powers from a magical creature that can talk.
    • Tritea’s personality is Sardonyx up to eleven.
  • Face Doodling: Edward does this to Endy when he’s asleep
  • Fake Action Prologue: The Second season opens with Creemer trying to save Jenny from herobrine, as if it was an in medias res. All is just a dream
  • Fantastic Racism: Even if It’s not specified if creatures have humanlike intelligence (Zombies are shown as animals that guide on instinct and Endermen are shown as intelligent), the desire for “monsters” disappearance is a pretty common theme. Steve Jr considers him superior for being 100% human while his siblings are monsters. The scene of the civilians insulting creepers in front of Creemer, the scene about Ker insulting slimes to provoke susan and even the narrator in the first chapter calls those creatures monstrosities.

  • King Incognito: The Guardians
    • also Jenny, the heir princess to the Ice Kingdom.
  • KISSING In A Tree: In one episode Eris teases Erebeo with Skelly when he arrives. "You obviously were with your little girlfriend the skeleton, giving themselves little cuddles and little kisses"
    • Eris: Surely he was with his little girlfriend the skeleton, giving themselves little cuddles and little kisses.
  • Lampshade Hanging: When frost tells the Audience not to even believe he's gonna sing... In a musical episode
  • Love Potion: It exists as shown in 1x14 Valentine’s Day.
  • {{Living MacGuffin: The villains want to use the protagonists to free Herobrine.
  • Magical Eye: Hypno's hypnosis powers and Erebeo’s scan powers come from this
  • Magica Incantation: When herobrine in 1x7 says "Malicious ones, Malicious ones, Bad ones, to my hands" to create clones.
    • Also, the spell End uses to have the soul of a pig requires this
  • Many Spirits Inside of One: Endy
  • Moe: YMMV, but Allu’s voice and attitude may awaken a protective instinct in the watcher.
    • Again, YMMV, but changing her voice actor emphasizes her having very low self esteem more than being cute.
  • Narrator: Notch’s Dialogues are always written like a book. E.G. “Notch compassively said: I forbid you”
  • Night of the Living Mooks: Exploited Zombies were used in the war for that reason.
  • Non-Action Big Bad: Eris. Overall most of the series is the Errors Deceiving and Manipulating the guardians into doing what they want them to do instead of fighting.
  • Old-School Chivalry: Ed and Gabriel
  • One-Letter Name: “D”.

  • Padding: The first episode, it only lists the characters and interviews them in situations that don’t involve the plot

  • Polar Opposite Twins: Bridgit is a nice girl, Vesta is a quick to anger jerkass.
  • Portmanteau Couple Name: Frocy, Ship between Frost and Lucy.
  • Pseudo-Crisis: Ally gets over having killed her best friend Fanny and Fanny’s dad in less than 4 episodes talking with herself
  • Right Under Their Noses: The errors and dark angels adopt mundane names and appearances for this. It works.
  • Really 700 Years Old: The Errors are 127 or 131 years old but look and act like teenagers. Y’know, because time does not go forward in a statue.
  • Religious and Mythological Theme Naming: Eris, Jörmungandr, Erebeo, Gabriel, Epiales, Hestia, Vesta, Tritea, Hipnos, Lidia and Ker.
  • Ruling Couple: Most of the monarchs

  • Seer: Ker.
  • Serial Killer: Exaggerated. Frost killed entire cities.
  • Shrinking Violet: Allu
  • Species Title: Guardians.
  • Spell My Name With An S: Crimer, Endi, Lusi, Lucí, Fros, Alli and Skely are popular in the fandom.
  • Spotlight-Stealing Squad: Lucy, Frost, Endy, Creemer and Zombier are given more importance than the other main characters.
  • Sue Donym: The fake names the errors use as civilians. Eris is Elisa, Hipnos is Ignacio, Erebeo is Eric
  • Tear Jerker: The execution of the Fire lordship’s spies in front of Fanny. The last words of his dad and seeing her shout “No!” after every death is just heartbreaking.}}
  • Technicolor Eyes: Eris has green sclera and red iris. The guardians have an iris that occupies all their sclera (Purple and Gold for Lucy, Red for Allu and Ally, Dark Grey for Silver, Light Gray for skelly, Violet for Endy, Green for Creemer…) and Frost has sky blue schlera
  • The Psychopath: End was created evil and Openly enjoys killing and torturing and would play with Lily's feelings just so he doesn't get caught.
  • The Trickster: Eris is cunning, manipulative and deceitful.
  • Time Master: Lucy can stop time.

  • Valentine's Day Episode: Episodes 1x13 and 3x12.
  • Villainous Crush: Erebeo on Skelly
  • Wham Episode: The Elimination, Eliminated and Error 10. A 55 minute three parter that shows a massive execution of the Fire lordship spies, the death of a recurrent side character, a piece of answer to know how errors are born, and overall a complete change in the status quo that leaves more questions than answers.
  • What Do You Mean, It's for Kids?: The Halloween specials have some very strong violence. Like when Zombier says End removed flesh from his body (Thank god he regenerates and that that happened off camera). When End kills people For the Evulz saying it makes him feel alive. When Dinnerbone finds the mutilated corpses of guards. Eris saying torturing people is fun…
    • Also the kings discussing a massive execution of the Fire lordship spies. Ally seeing her best friend die. Fanny seeing his father die and basically everything in the finale of season 3.
    • Word of God: "Ah, when I added blood in the series, when I was angsty and all"
    • Also Getting Crap Past the Radar. In the episode “The Alley” there is a sign that says “Mookers upstairs”
  • You Mean "Xmas": Averted, despite Christianity never existing, it's still called Christmas.
  • Zerg Rush: The Lord of Fire sends thousands of troops to overwhelm Steve and Alex.
