VS Ron: The Resurrection (Cool Mod) is a Friday Night Funkin' Game Mod featuring a fanmade Alternate Timeline for literally every fnf mod ever, following the misadventures of Ron the folder (a cool guy) after he is Spared by the Adaptation (yay).

- Adaptational Badass: In the original mod, Ron was killed after his first song. Here, he gets not just one, but two entire weeks, each with difficult songs.
- Adaptation Deviation: Unlike the original B-sides, B-side Ron songs don't Palette Swap Boyfriend and Girlfriend.
- Adapted Out: Bob is no longer going to appear in the mod, as specifically forbidden by the creator of literally every fnf mod ever.
- All There in the Manual:
- According to the files, the form Ron assumes in Bloodshed is named "Hellron".
- Hell Ron in old Bloodshed speaks exclusively in invisible white text. If you dig through the game files to find the relevant dialogue and translate it, you'll get yourself a nice Easter Egg.

- Easy-Mode Mockery: Old Bloodshed on easy difficulty had a scroll speed of 0.1, which is so ridiculously slow that all the notes appeared just in front of the arrow keys in one indiscernible lump.
- Foil: Ron's silliness (in a cool way) contrasts Bob's seriousness, even more so since the first week parodies Bob's.
- Funny Background Event: The BSoD background used in Atelophobia and Factory Reset says "Your computer is a potato" instead of an actual error.
- Interface Screw:
- In the remastered Bloodshed, the game window wobbles to the rhythm of the music and the arrows also start wobbling halfway through the song.
- The same thing also happens in Bleeding.
- It Amused Me: The developer slapped a [TRIGGERED] banner on angry Ron's sprites just because it's funnier this way.
- Joke Level: The Tutorial, nothing less. Filled to the brim with nothing but memes, it serves a fitting introduction to the mod.
- Mood Whiplash: Present in the new dialogue for Bloodshed:Ron: I will cause you endless torture. Your crimes against god have lead you to eternal suffering and pain. Your girlfriend will be dead if you lose, and you will meet a terrible fate.

for a reason. - Nerf: The old version of Bloodshed had a reputation of being Nintendo Hard even by the modding community's generous standards. The remaster has tuned down its difficulty significantly, reducing both the note spam and the frantic scrolling speed.
- Non Sequitur: The original Ron song is sprinkled with silly nonsensical sounds for extra humor value.
- Palette Swap: B-side Ron uses a different color palette than the original, as typical for remix characters.
- Normal Ron's sprites are recolored to purple.
- Hell Ron's black-and-white sprites have their colors inverted.
- Parody: The first story week parodies the events of literally every fnf mod ever through the gratuitous use of silliness, and it's worth noting that the latter is already a parody itself.
- Percussive Maintenance: B-side Factory Reset sounds like Boyfriend is resorting to physical violence to fix his computer, in contrast to the regular version of the song where he can he heard phoning for technical help instead.
- Recursive Fanfiction: The mod features a fanfic of literally every fnf mod ever which is itself a fanmade mod, and is NOT canon to the latter.
- Red Sky, Take Warning: During Bloodshed the sky becomes black with omnious red occult symbols, and the scenery is bathed in red glow as well.
- Running Gag: Ron's schizophrenia and misaimed hate is basically his selling point, so no wonder it pops throughout the story a lot.
- Screen Shake: The screen shakes whenever Hell Ron sings in Bloodshed, Susshed, Bloodbath, Bleeding, and Run.
- Shout-Out:
- In old Ayo dialogue, Bob gets described as a "dream marshmellow man knockoff"
- "When the Impostor is sus" are the Arc Words of old Bloodshed.
- Sore Loser: Ron gets angry after losing ONE song in Week 1.
- Stylistic Suck: Just like the original song, this mod features the same MS Paint doodles and copypasted meme sounds, and the new weeks follow the style as well. (In a cool way)
- Suddenly Voiced: Boyfriend, rather than speaking in beeps and bops, actually speaks English here.
- Toilet Humor: A fart sound can be heard both in the remixed tutorial and at the beginning of Trojan Virus.
- Turns Red: During Bloodshed, the last song of Week 1, Ron assumes a black and white Humanoid Abomination form and proceeds with a very difficult note chart.
- What If?: The story follows an Alternate Timeline in which Ron wasn't killed during the events of Bob's Onslaught.
