I used to be a Classicist, working on one of those big degrees, before fate compelled me to get a real job.
Aristophanes was my specialty. He seems to be strangely under/misrepresented here, so I'm somewhat undertaking a project to remedy that. Then again,
Cybergeneration is probably going to come out as my first project. That aforementioned real job is lawyering (I have the J.D., but am putting off taking the Bar). I also spend a lot of time in and about the Chicago theater community, where the lack of general trope wisdom always shocks me.
