• Acting for Two:
  • In the anime's Japanese release:
    • Mitsuru Ogata voices Myrddin and provides the off-screen Opening Narration for the first episode.
    • Makoto Ishii voices Arthur and Pwyll.
    • Yūko Gotō voices both Rhiannon and Primula.
    • Chikara Osaka voices Tempesta and Delator while also providing his talents to several background characters.
    • Yuichi Ishigami voices Cecil in addition to some one-off characters.
    • Shunzo Miyasaka voices Edith and several minor characters.
    • Go Shinomiya voices Ladu as well as several one-off characters.
  • In Sentai's English version:
    • Brett Weaver voices both Cecil and Gaius.
    • In addition to voicing Morgan, Tiffany Grant voices Conal, Fure as well as a dragon in episode 19.
    • Creon, Edith, Myrddin and the Narrator are all voiced by John Gremillion.
    • Both Bublux and Ladu are voiced by George Manley.
    • John Swasey voices Drwc, Ogam and Tempesta.
    • Luci Christian, in addition to voicing Limwris, also provides the voice for the young Arthur, Elis and Yureva.
• Creator Couple: Matt Greenfield and Tiffany Grant, who worked on the Sentai Filmworks dub of the anime, were married at the time of its release. They have since divorced.
• Cross-Dressing Voices: Rathty is voiced by Greg Ayres in the Sentai English dub. Except Rathty's a girl all along.
• Directed by Cast Member:
  • In Sentai's English dub, Matt Greenfield is the ADR director as well as the voice of an ogre in episode 7.
  • In the anime's Latin American Spanish dub, Luis Navarro is Lector's voice actor as well as the ADR director.
• Dueling Dubs: Two English dubs were made for the anime. The first was produced by Animax Asia and Philippines-based Odex Productions when the anime was simulcast in Southeast Asia. The second, and the most well-known, was produced by Sentai Filmworks in 2010 for its Blu-ray release.
• Fake Nationality: For Sentai Filmworks's English dub, most the American voice actors use Irish and British accents for their characters.
• Fan Translation: Released in December 2008, right around the time when the anime spinoff began airing.
• Late Export for You: The anime wasn't released in Latin America until 2022, 13 years after its Japanese premiere.
• No Export for You: The game version was never released overseas.
• The Other Darrin: There was a massive re-casting effort between the PC and PS3 versions, replacing most of the original cast with a more high-profile one (which carried over to the anime) To wit:
  Morgan: Rie Tomigawa > Mai Nakahara
  Octavia: Kaoru Imai > Rie Tanaka
  Limwris: Ayaka Kimura > Ami Koshimizu
  Ermin: Mai Akizuki > Ai Shimizu
  Ogam: Gansezu > Yosuke Akimoto
  Epona: Yurika Hokuto > Kiyomi Asai
  Llyr: Yuka Takana > Kaori Nazuka
  Rathy: Yuka Misaki > Kana Ueda

  • Although anyone with a good ear and half familiar with the Japanese CV scene can tell who was really recasted, and who had just used an alias for the original PC version.
• Production Posse: There are several White Fox regulars, most of who are originally from OLM Incorporated, in the anime series.
  • Producer Gaku Iwasa worked on several anime series as head of OLM Team Iwasa such as Utawarerumono, alongside director Tomoki Kobayashi.
  • Character designer and chief animation director Masahiko Nakata was an animator for Pokémon and Comic Party while at OLM.
  • Prop designer Taro Ikegami did the in-between animation for Wedding Peach.
  • 3D Director Shigeyuki Koresawa worked on the fifth through seventh and ninth Pokémon movies.
  • Kazuhisa Nakamura animated the second and fifth Pokémon movies as well as SHUFFLE!, and would later go on to serve as character designer and chief animation director on Akame ga Kill!.
  • This was also Miyuki Sato's first assignment as color designer for White Fox, but she later performed similar duties on Akame ga Kill! and Goblin Slayer. She was previously the color designer for the InuYasha series.
• Real-Life Relative: The late Chris Ayres voices Arthur and his younger brother Greg Ayres voices Rathty in the Sentai English dub.
• Role Reprise: Many of the cast members involved with the PS3 release of the game would later go on to reprise their roles in the anime. A handful of the cast members from the original PC release would also be retained for both the PS3 release and the anime.
• Written by Cast Member: In Sentai's English dub, Tiffany Grant was the ADR scriptwriter for the first 13 episodes, as well as the voice of Morgan, Conal and Fure. Her then-husband, Matt Greenfield, wrote the scripts for the remainder of the series and also voiced an ogre in episode 7.
