The arrival of the TARDIS at St John's was originally more involved, and included the Doctor revealing the existence of a "dear little hatch" in the bottom of the police box. A "chief computer" was to feature in the dining room, which chatted with the humans in a Yorkshire accent. Jennifer originally had perfect recall, which explains why her Ganger is able to overcome the memory suppression protocols.
Trivia.Shadow Of Rome: Spiritual Successor: Interestingly enough, it found one in the form of Dead Rising which was supposed to be the sequel to Shadow of Rome. Once this fell through due to the poor sales of the first title, Dead Rising was reworked into the game we all know today. Many core gameplay mechanics and designs, as well as things like the Artificial Stupidity of the allied AI, transferred over surprisingly intact.

Trivia.Doctor Who S 15 E 1 Horror Of Fang Rock: In the original script, Col. Skinsale's wife Veronica appeared. She was ultimately removed. The original script for this production slot was the story that would eventually become "State of Decay" several years later. However, the BBC higher-ups ordered that it be dropped, as they didn't want viewers comparing it to the then-upcoming Count Dracula (1977), forcing Terrance Dicks to hastily write this story as a replacement. In early drafts of the story, Adelaide and Skinsale survived; however, this was changed to make the story more resonant with the poem Flannan Isle.
Trivia.The Office USS 3 E 16 Business School: Originally, one of Pam's watercolor paintings was supposed to be a depiction of a church. Joss Whedon had it replaced with the painting of the stapler because he felt Pam's art should be more mundane.

Trivia.Danny Brown: At one point, Danny Brown could have been a member of G-Unit, along with Lil B, after appearing on a tape with Tony Yayo. 50 Cent, however, felt that Danny's image would not have worked well with G-Unit, and so put the executive veto on this. Dizzee Rascal was originally supposed to guest on "Dubstep" but suggested that Danny go with Scrufizzer instead, as he felt that he would be a better fit due to being new, relatively unknown, and eager to prove himself.

The script had a different ending where Ludwig is shot by an unseen assailant, based on theories that the King had been assassinated by his enemies while attempting to escape from Berg. She was offered a Remake Cameo in Charlie's Angels (2000) but (depending on who you ask) would only do it if she could be seen interacting with Charlie or provide the voice of Charlie.
Trivia.Dawn Of War III: The Stinger of the campaign clearly teased the Necrons as a playable race, but with Relic deciding to cease support for the game, this and other plans were axed. In fact, Relic confirmed that with the game's poor reception and sales, the decision was made to prioritize fixing the base game over working on expansion content.

Her motive might have been to get them out of the way so she could try to seduce Tom Robinson, but she could have found another, crueler way to clear the house; instead, she paid for them to have a treat.
Trivia.Tiger Eyes: According to The Other Wiki, the first draft of the novel included passages about Davey masturbating while thinking of the attractive, slightly older Wolf. Blume was persuaded to edit them out in order to make the book more accessible to younger readers. Throughout her often controversial career, this is the only time she's ever been persuaded to censor her own work.
Creator.Ryan Zheng: invokedDeleted Role: Zack Snyder chose him as Ryan Choi (the legacy Atom) in his version of Justice League, but he was axed from the 2017 theatrical version. Trivia.The Marine: The role of John Triton as played by John Cena was originally intended for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Randy Orton was going to be in the third film, but real life marines didn't like that due to his history in the marines, and the role went to The Miz, CM Punk was also in the talks for the role. When there were first talks of a Diva being planned to co-star in The Marine 4, it was mentioned that said Diva would have been Eve Torres, but this obviously had to be scrapped when she left the company, before Summer Rae was ultimately cast.
Trivia.Mark Hollis Album: The album was originally meant to be released under the Talk Talk name, bearing the title Mountains of the Moon. Why this never came to pass is not clearly known, though the fact that none of Hollis' Talk Talk bandmates were involved with the album's production was likely a contributing factor. Interestingly, promotional CD-R and cassette copies of Mark Hollis retain the Mountains of the Moon title, with the CD-R version also keeping the attribution to Talk Talk.

After writing "The Chipmunk Song" in 1958, Ross Bagdasarian recognized that it had a catchy melody, but wasn't sure if the public would buy the "chipmunk" concept, so he attempted to rework it as both an Instrumental and a straight pop song called "In a Village Park", before deciding that the chipmunk version worked the best. An art portfolio of Dan Haskett's has a series of drawings of the Chipettes all grown up, which might possibly lead to an animated Chipmunks movie where the Chipmunks and Chipettes grew up.
Characters.New Vegas Bounties: During a livestream of Fallout: New Vegas, Someguy2000 vaguely hinted at Bobby Bass resurfacing in a later mod.
Trivia.Seussical: The workshop version of "Oh the Thinks You Can Think" included a line for the Grinch ("Think of a Christmas that somebody steals!"). In the final version, it's replaced with Mayzie's verse ("Think of a bird who flies off on a spree!")
Trivia.Blue Thunder: The original concept for the film was something along the lines of Taxi Driver in the air: Murphy was to have been a police helicopter pilot who went on a psychotic rampage through the skies of LA. This gets reused as the cover story for why the police and Air Force want to shoot him down. The movie's visual effects were originally due to be done by Industrial Light & Magic, but because they were unavailable Blue Thunder became the first major project for Dream Quest Images. For the TV series, the main character of Chaney was originally due to be played by Gil Gerard, but he pulled out because he hated the scripts - hence James Farentino.
Trivia.Black Hole High: A fourth and fifth season were planned; however, the production company behind the show closed down. As a result, there was only enough time for the production crew to film a three-episode finale for Season 4.

Trivia.Power Slave: The PC version of the game was originally to be released as Ruins: Return of the Gods by 3D Realms. A prequel titled PowerSlave 2 was originally in the works, featuring a young King Ramses as the main protagonist. Trivia.Mc Cabe And Mrs Miller: Robert Altman's initial preference for the role of John McCabe was Elliott Gould, who passed to appear in a now-forgotten film. George C. Scott was also considered. According to Gould, Altman wanted Patricia Quinn for Constance Miller. Ned Beatty was at one point considered for a role in the film but Altman felt that he was a little too young for the role.

Trivia.Across The Void: When this book was first released, "Book 1" was shown next to the title, showing that it was originally intended to be a series. However, due to multiple complaints of lack of Character Development, bad pacing, too little focus on the Vanguard-Jura conflict, and, later in the story, the fact that many characters (including love interests) required players to spend diamonds to save their lives, the story was ended in one book.
Trivia.Super Size Me 2 Holy Chicken: According to AJR, their hit song "Burn the House Down" was created for this film but didn't make the final cut.
Creator.Ken Pontac: The characters of Orbot and Cubot were almost cut from the series until Ken suggested to keep using them for Sonic Lost World. It would explain their Unexplained Recovery. Ken Pontac: Cubot and Orbot, yes. They almost got cut from the series. Yeah. There were some questions from one of the groups of producers that um... they were really funny. They were great, but Eggman wouldn't have that kind of relationship with a pair of robots, and obviously we ended up winning that argument because even if he doesn't or didn't have that, you can have it now if it's really funny and works.
Trivia.South Pacific: Rodgers and Hammerstein originally planned to adapt just one story from Tales of the South Pacific, Cable and Liat's love story. But when they realized it would feel too similar to Madame Butterfly, they brought in Nellie and Emile from another portion of the book and wove the two love stories together.
Trivia.Angel S 05 E 10 Soul Purpose: It was rumoured that one of the strippers who was entertaining Spike was intended to be Kate Lockley but Elisabeth Röhm was too busy appearing in Law & Order to make a cameo.
Trivia.Chopped: Ted Allen humorously remarked that Chopped was originally going to take place in an eccentric millionaire's mansion, with the millionaire's butler serving as the host and the losing dishes being fed to the millionaire's pet chihuahua. Naturally, the Food Network found this "too weird," but wanted to keep the general premise of the show and put it in a more straightforward competition format.
